Bledsoe first on the field... Allready leading!

What was it that was just so majestic about Vinny Testaverde? You fawn over him and all I ever saw was a journeyman, listless career average QB. Bledsoe is head and shoulders more talented and more accomplished. 4 Time Pro Bowler and made it to 2 Super Bowls having won 2 AFC championship games.

I'm rooting for him and Parcells - BIG.
Nors, you are full it it.

POINT out to me where I "fawned" over Testaverde?

I was on the record here as being SHOCKED Bill even brought him in.

And I have NEVER said Bledsoe didn't represent an upgrade over VT.

So stuff it. I happen to LIKE Testaverde a great deal as a human being, but I have never represented him as anything he's not as a player.

What is this sudden constant referral to retreads. Let me list a few "retreads" other than Bledsoe:

Keyshawn Johnson
Terry Glenn
Marco Rivera
Jason Fergeuson
Anthony Henry
L. Glover
Al Singleton
Aaron Glenn
Ike Reese
Quincy Morgan

Should I continue. There is no way win can win with all these retreads. (end sarcasm).

Players re-cycled from other teams have been called "retreads" for 20 years or more.

Already people who aren't as convinced as you are haters. Well, that didn't take long.
He will turn more fans against Drew than any interceptions or fumbles could.

Because it's not enough you get 100 percent behind "his" guy, he has to run down all his guy's perceived competition, past or future,

LMAO!

I woke up this morning with mega good feelings re Bledsoe.

And I am not letting Nors crush it. :bang2:

If they wear the star and wear it proudly.......I prefer to call them Cowboys.

Oh trust me I know that.

He still thinks people are 4-3 lovers, or 3-4 haters or are pining away over not acquiring Darren Howard.

Hell, no one who accepted the "fact" that Ty Law was scheduled to be coming here last year had any reservations about RCB.

You disagree with him you get a label. Par for the course.

I'm not a Bledsoe hater.....just haven't been impressed with him.

I think he is the best Qb we have had here since Troy left....but that doesn't say much.

Hey I hope he proves me wrong and puts up pro-bowl numbers and leads this team to the SB....I really do.....but realistically....I can see him leaving after 2 years with a .500 record.....

The Bledsoe haters will now attempt give him no credit when the team wins. LOL
But if the team tanks its all on him.

There is one constant - Henson on the bench.

A hater is a hater whether you hate Bledsoe or Henson. ;)

Speaking for myself.......because I would like to see Henson succeed does not = hate Bledsoe.

Henson's success=better team for years to come.

Everyone, even you Nors, should be able to compute that simple math.

Well, if you bother to look real closely you won't see me calling him a Patriot of a Bill.

To say Parcells plans ahead is an understatement. We should have seen this coming when Parcells made Henson change his jersey number last preseason. ;)
Now there's a stretch for you. Henson went back to his old college number as soon as we ditched the Hutch who had been wearing it and now it is all part of a preconceived plan on Parcells part. :laugh2:

Thanks I needed a good laugh.

no....just like Hutch and Carter debate....

You have to pick sides and stick to it.....no wavering or you will get banned....thats the rules.

You can only like one Qb on the roster....

Can't we like both of them?

Yes Sir...most of us can.....but there are a few with "agendas" so there are exceptions.

if we all had our choice about who would be our quarterback 95% of us would pick henson including me. but he hasn't proven anything on the field yet, and bledsoe has proven over and over in this league he can get the job done. can he do it by himself? no he proved that last year in buffalo. until they got a running game going and their defense started playing better we were headed for a top 10 pick with them.

everyone knows he's got the arm, and he's tough as hell. the only questions about him is can we protect him. now it's a big question i'll admit that but if we can it's not out of the realm of possibility that he can put up real good numbers and take us deep in the playoffs.

anyone who can't see that is blind as far as i'm concerned. we won 10 games with carter for crying out loud.

Your welcome. It was a little tongue and cheek. When Henson was forced to pick a new number because Hutchinson has the number 7, he chose 11. Many people speculated that it was because Parcells two best QB's ever, Simms and Bledsoe, wore that number, and he wanted to make that impression. When Hutchinson was released, the number 7 became available, and it was offered to Henson (rumor has it, by Parcells through the equipment MGR). Conspiracy theorists can have field day with this one.

I guess I'm in that 5% minoroty then. By the way, I disagree with that strongly. Besides, sounds like Henson struggled yesterday. Hopefully, he'll bounce back today. I remember, they tried to change Kosars delivery when he first came up. His accuracy took a nosedive, so they let him go back to the 3/4 arm delivery, and he went on to be on of the NFL's most accurate and successful QB's of his time. I hope they didn't screw up Henson.
