Bledsoe first on the field... Allready leading!

My only gripe is that he is yet another retread on the downhill side of his career. I do like him better than the last retread though. A lot better.

Frankly, I'd rather change the tires now than later. It's inevitable and living in NY - I've seen A LOT of Drew Bledsoe to know that we're going to need some new rubber REAL FAST if we can't pass protect, and pass protect WELL.

I DREAD the idea of starting this process all over again in a year or two.

And how many of those sacks were do to DB standing back there patting the **** out off the ball waiting to try to complete the big throw like he always does instead of dumping it off? I'm betting quite a few.
I don't know you're the stats man...you tell me. And tell me if he was not dumping it off because he had no one to dump it off too; the Bills don't have a Witten afterall.

Moulds being his only legitimate target over the middle didn't make it too hard for defenses to shut down that aspect of the game for him. Like I said I'm not worried about what happened in Buffalo because the situation here is much different with Witten and Key both as possession receivers he will have some options here that he didn't have with the Bills.

Prove they had a "bad" o-line?

Define for me what the hell "bad" is--OK?

Better yet, let's let the games speak for themselves. We'll see how Bledsoe fares behing our offensive line, and then we'll compare that to how many times "Mr. Mobility" J. P. Losman is sacked this season.

You see, I cannot prove to your that the Bills had a bad offensive line and I honestly don't have the time, or the desire to spend the time to try and prove it. I watched them play last season. You don't have to be from New York to watch the Bills play my man. It's called "The Sunday Ticket" and I watched the Bills play more than most people south of the Mason-Dixon. you may want to invest in it because the Bills are going to be ugly.

Back to last season, sometimes Bledsoe held the ball, but other times he barely got in his drop. But all that really doesn't matter. I'm not going to waste my time or yours trying to come up with off the fall theories and reasons why Bledsoe often didn't have time to throw. I'd rather let the games speak the volumes the I know they will.

BW I've had to watch the Bills since they came into the NFL... Thanks for reminding me.

Talk to your fellow New Yorker, Michael, he'll tell you. It wasn't the pass protection, it was Bledsoe. So what good will pass protection do? I guess if your from New York, you are an expert on pass protection and the shortcomings of Drew Bledsoe, but only if your from New York.

Jump ship now. Before it's too late.

While you are at it, could you tell me something else that is inevitable? Like tonights lottery numbers. It's always nice to have a prophet in the house. Someone who knows exactly how something is going to turn out, before it ever happens. Hel, why even play the season?

I guess old timers like us just have a different perspective on the situation. This "QB-by-relvolving-door" thingy just aint working out.

Umm.......ya......ok - - whatever you say. What am I thinking? We New Yorkers aren't allowed to voice an opinion on this board - I apologize - carry on now - shooo.

No doubt Bro.

Just going around in circles.

Oh well.

Could be worse - we could be the 9ers.

No, but everytime one of you have a negative comment about Bledsoe, you lead of by telling us your from New York, like that makes you some kind of expert on the matter. Like being from New York, your instantly and expert on the subject and you opinion carries more weight.

Why don't you just hope for the best and let it all play out. All the reports so far on Bledsoe have been extremely good.

Hey BW I'm not proclaiming a "car wreck". I'm proclaiming an enhanced
"Vinny". And for me personally that ain't good enough. I've watched too many great QB's grace the Star to be satisfied with this re-tread.

Waht would you do Sarge? Start Henson? Henson looked pretty bad yesterday from most peoples opinions. Let's hope he looks better today, but could you imagine how this place would be if Henson was supposed to be our starter this year, and he showed looking like that. I, for one, am glad we have Bledsoe and don't have to rely on Henson, Romo, Hutchinson, Carter, or Testaverde this season. Bledsoe gives me hope.

I think your going to be very suprised this year.

First off, I rarely post negatively about Bledsoe. In fact, I rarely post at all.

Secondly, we say we're from New York only so board members know that we have seen a lot of Bledsoe w/the Bills. It's not for any other reason. FYI, not everyone has the ticket.

Neither myself or Winky have ever said we're "experts" on Bledsoe, we are just expressing our opinion on the guy after seeing him play, week after week as a penalty for living in NY. It's as simple as that.

Lastly, perhaps you can point out somewhere where either Winky or myself ISN'T hoping for the best. You have insinuated that we aren't (or are questiong why we don't)......... which couldn't be further from the truth.

Trying to get you to understand this is like tacking jello to a wall.

It's simple, instead of judging Drew Bledsoe as a Buffalo Bill, why not wait and see how he performs as a Dallas Cowboy. You say you don't post much, well you post more than I do. But i read about every day. Last season when I was posting that I thought we would make a run at Bledsoe in the offseason, Michael was very much against that idea and I get the feeling he remains of that opinion.

If you would have asked me about signing Brian Greise at the begining of last season, after his debacle in Miami, I would have said no way. He goes to Tampa, and becomes a very good QB again. My point is, change of scenery can work wonders. I don't think Bledsoe was that bad to start off. So, I expect a change of scenery to be very beneficial to him.

Honestly BW if Bledsoe gave us 3,200 yards, 20TD's and 14Ints, I would be pleased with that.

I like Bledsoe, always have wondered why he has not had better seasons. He looks to be in terrific shape in camp. I see him being an above average QB this year and Romo backing him up.
