ok, so just being on the team that goes to the SB makes you a great QB....well in that case, who was Aikmans back-up, man he was awesome......yeah right. Bledsoe gets credit for 1 AFC championship... besides neither of them have a SB ring, and thats what really matters, so your point was not very well backed up.

To better state my point that you very weakly tried to use against me.......stats reflect individual performance, championships reflect team performance!!

Umm Bledsoe stepped in an won that AFC championship game, but if u want to take it way sure

1-0 AFc CHamionships - 100%

0-1 SB -0%

1-3 NFC chamionships 33.33%

0-1 SB - 0%

oh lets not forget he went 0-3 for three straight years, with two of them being at home

Those 0 Championship numbers?

The same ones posted by Marino, Culpepper, Manning and McNabb?

Those numbers?

The ones that really show what a guy can or can't do?

Heck, McNabb has better physical skills than Tom Brady does!

Doesn't mean I'd take McNabb over Brady either.

Sometimes it's about more than "measurables".

Again, Culpepper and Manning have great regular season "numbers" too. But when the real games start, they too curl up in the fetal position while less "talented" quarterbacks move on.

That's the qualities I'm factoring in with my decision.

even at that, the playoffs are where great players are made and it cannot be argued that a player that leads his team to 4 NFC championship games has the edge over a guy that led his team to 1....or 2 if you want to give him a gmae they were already winning.

stats reflect what the players around you allow you to do. When bledsoe had a good coach and players, he threw for over 4000 yards,(three times) the closet Mcnabb ever got was 3800 when he had TO on the field. ANyting else

Please Mcnab lead nothing, If ther Def doesnt put the clamps on Vick, they lose at home to ATL. and Second its not hard to go to championships when your in one of the weakest leagues, in one of the weakest confernces and all you have to do is win one game.

look, I dont want you guys to think I'm on mcnabbs jock or nething, cuz I'm not, but the fact that he is the better QB in my opinion based off of my thoughts and my perception of the numbers, not to mention what I've seen. I realized I opened myself up to extreme scrutiny by making the homer comment, which I should have refrained from, but I made it and I'm sorry. We obviously see the issue differently, so lets agree to disagree and hope that the Cowboys beat the poop out of the ealges this year.....how's that sound?

oh hell - we all make off the cuff comments people will take in their own fashion. my "trigger" is simply the opinions people toss out as facts cause they happen to think it so.

Yes McNabb may be a more overall skilled QB, but like I and many others have pointed out pure skill is not all there is to a QB.

You must be a: Leader, good team mate through thick and thin, be able to take the heat, and be able to rise to the occasion when the chips are on the table.(All this aside from the skills needed to be a NFL-level QB)

Look at good ole' number 8, he was at his best in the playoffs, when things REALLY counted when it was do or die that is when he stepped up his game. And untill McNabb does that, and he hasn't, he has gotten his team there but has not stepped up his game when the chips were on the table.

A leader gets his team into the playoffs on a regular basis and that's what McNabb does, Bledsoe's leadership can't get his team to the playoffs, despite the fact that he has had a better supporting cast than McNabb his entire career. Did Bledsoe rise to the occasion in Buffalo when he lost to Pittsburgh's backups while playing at home for a playoff spot, did he rise to the occasion against Seattle or is he using the ole, 'if we only had a decent kicker excuse'. Indeed, Bledsoe took the sack in Seattle territory that led to Jose Cortez's miss. He plays well enough against weak defenses, but does not rise to the occasion against good ones. In McNabbs' infamous super bowl choke, he threw for over 300 yards and had 3 td passes while his running game was non-existent, meanwhile the great Tom Brady had Corey Dillon running wild and receiver Deion Branch winning the MVP because he outplayed Brady. The fact that McNabb puts up good numbers with a meager supporting cast tells you that more often than not, he does rise to the occasion which is in stark contrast to Bledsoe.

this overall comparison of fans between ES and CBZ is kinda funny. pointless, but funny.

all fans are homers to their team. it's part of the job. if there's a "give" to give we give it to our team not the others. nature of the beast, NOT a bad thing.

the differences between the 2 forums are not one set of fans is better or worse than another, but art is a tool who will ban you for not thinking like him and speaking your mind out.

NEVER happens in here that i've ever seen. the only ones i've seen banned are admitted trolls and nors and nors is the posterchild for people who DESERVE to be banned.
