I remember Bledsoe pouting on the sideline when he got benched.
Bledsoe's point is despite his anger for getting pulled, he was still willing to be a good teammate and help Romo as a veteran QB with advice. Brady was accepting and Romo wasn't. I don't think that should surprise anyone.

OT but does anyone think Bledsoe and Staffords careers are good comparisons of each other? Neither are likely HOFers, but you are pretty happy to have either in their prime
Stafford is making the HOF with his longevity and SB ring imo

“Bledsoe says what I like because it confirms my hatred for Romo, therefore he’s right.”

So the top pick in his draft knows what it is to be more humble than an undrafted player who just suddenly got a big head?

Shouldn’t you be hating on Dak for being greedy and asking for $60 million like you said?
I have been blasting Dak for months now, especially recently for lying and becoming so greedy with his "I don't want top/record overall pay" $60 million/year contract extension.

Of course he’s bitter. #1 draft pick who lost his job to a 6th rounder and then an undrafted FA.

I never liked Bledsoe, even when he was here.

Romo studied the game. That's why he got better and better as he got older. He was playing at an elite level the last couple years. Including his last 2 playoff games.
Somehow no one wants to mention that. The mental part of his game consistently improved which shows a desire to learn and grow and a strong work ethic.
This is bitter BS.

If my quarterback for the #1 franchise in the world didnt have massive confidence and ego, I'd be worried.

Romo never took the game seriously, get out of here with that "studied the game" nonsense. He is busy "having lived a pretty good life" of NOT getting it done when it mattered most. He had more than enough chances to, and if Romo were really all that then it would have happened at least once. The fumbled FG chip shot was a microcosm of Romo's entire career.

For some throwback news

13. Speaking of Brady, if you didn’t know, his former Patriots teammate, Drew Bledsoe, apparently greatly preferred backing up TB12 to former Cowboys star Tony Romo, who now broadcasts for network rival CBS. But now, we definitively know. "Romo, you know this is true,” Bledsoe said on a feature during ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.” “The minute that he became the starter, he became pretty big in his own mind. He was no longer the curious, inquisitive guy. That was the difference between him and Tommy. … All of a sudden Romo was the guy that had all the answers."

That should earn some brownie points from Tom Brady and the Patriots faithful. A two-fer!

Romo also showed up to training camp the last half of his career out-of-shape with a spare tire. Romo was never playing at an elite level since those QBs were Manning, Brady, Breeze. But Romo, like Dak was a great tier 2 QB.

Wasn't Romo already in the QB room a few years before Bledsoe joined the team? Didn't the direction of the team change immediately when Romo took over for Bledsoe?

Bledsoe seems to think a bit to highly of himself. Maybe he should have been asking Romo for some advice.

Romo wasn't a rookie when he got his chance to play. It was his forth year!

I believe it. Too much smoke over the years from other players for this to not be true about Romo. He may have been a nice guy and not a bad teammate but lacked the leadership qualities as a QB in the locker room. It is what it is...not every player is built to have those qualities, it just depends on their personalities.

Hey Drew, jealous much?
Drew Bledsoe lead a team to a Super Bowl, got a ring being a bench due to injury after starting ahead arguably the best QB that ever played the game. He was good enough to move on the Dallas as a starter ahead of Romo.

Why he would ever be jealous of a QB that never got a divisional round playoff victory. Romo got benched to retirement by Dak Prescott.

...Nuff Said.

I have mentioned this constantly in recent years, but since I'm a huge Dak supporter, you Romo lovers never give me credit. We all know why. Meh.
