There is no world that exist where you pick Marty’s boy over Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, or Deion Sanders if you actually care about winning games.

I literally can’t take this franchise seriously anymore.
But listening to booby belt you would think it makes great sense lol. Btw, why the hell would Dak be dictating who we hire? Talk about stupid.

If we hire a guy that wasn't even allowed to be the OC as the head coach then we're not even trying to hide that we're not a serious franchise.

No other team in the NFL would even hire this guy as their OC, let alone as the HC.

This one is really going to test me as a fan. I might not have the strength to beat the urge of wanting to stay a fan.
We all know the problem is the Jones family.

But it sucks when they remind us that they're the problem with such stupidity.

Buzz picking up means Jerry has leaked this out to his minions like Booby belt . It's no accident. This is a test to see how the fans respond to the possibility.

Dear Lawd...can this franchise please be taken seriously? God let us hire a real hc that comes in here and changes how we do things. Dark times.

Watch, our next hire will be the ole ball coach Steve Spurrier and our OC will be Tim Tebow.

This is a serious question ..

Other than being Marty Schottenheimer's son, what has Brian done to justify being a head coach?

He has recently been the offensive coordinator for a team (the Cowboys) whose head coach called all of the plays.

Of all the people rumored to be in the mix, he has to be near the bottom in qualifications at this point.
He is not qualified, you are correct.

This would be concrete proof Jerry cares about being comfortable and being in charge than actually trying to win games.

All we can hope for is that Jerry is going to pay Robert Saleh to be our defensive coordinator, but knowing JJ that’s gonna cost too much take the cheaper route and go Zimmer.

Saleh will be in San Francisco. Where he will be tasked to find a way to contain Rico Dowdle.

The fans would love this hire. It makes sense. The guy has had success recently and has established himself in the league. Still young too. I'd like it.

It'll never happen, but wouldn't it be amazing if every single Cowboys fan stopped watching the moment we're mathematically eliminated this upcoming season, since ratings are all Jerry cares about

Bobby is a moron. He’s just touting KM for his boy Dak.

I can’t believe we are even contemplating going this route. Just yesterday KM showed you what he does. Instead of killing the clock with Barclay he sends a one legged Hurts on a roll out straight into a sack…….smh
He has legitimate insider sources within the building. When you hear Jimmy Johnson state he thinks Moore/Scott that tells me Jerry already asked for his opinion. Like it or not, they are going with former coach who has had success with Dak.

- he spoke to 6 people who all said KM wouldn’t have a problem leading a locker room.

- he’s not an extrovert but doesn’t matter apparently- compares Dungy & Kevin O’Connell temperament.

- compared him to an evangelist- buy into his message.

- Dak loves that KM gives the media zero

- he’ll have verbally strong staff members

- he’s an untapped guy where nobody has really seen his true capabilities because he’s been surrounded by by chaos in Dallas - Philly - SD.

- consensus - super smart

- Brian Schottenheimer is a real real challenge for the HC job - he will get in your face.

- Doug Nussmeir is a real disciplinarian
- Eberflus is a well known hard a__.
- Witten is a no nonsense guy

Sounds like Moore v Schottenheimer
Jimmy even said it on air, they want a coach who has had success with Dak. I don't like it, but that appears the direction we are headed.

I don't take much Belt says seriously since he is a huge Dak slobberer, but I am sure that even the senile owner realizes that KM is basically a seamless attempt to recoup his "investment" in a middling QB. As for Johnson coming here, I never thought that for a second. He seems smart enough to realize that coming here is being set up to fail.
You should because he has legitimate sources. You may not like it, but he has been dead on in the past.

That no one (credible) reported this before Jimmy's comment (... correct me if I'm wrong about that... ) makes me wonder now about Bobby Belt and these radio guys suddenly acting like this is a real possibility. Belt's really leaning out on a limb here, and I'm really inclined to think it's going to break and his reputation takes a fall.

Going to take someone of great reliability to move me from my (conventional wisdom) presumption that Schottenheimer is going with Al Harris wherever McCarthy lands.
