That is great. The sad thing is that I know people who act like this and get drunk on wine and then trash other people for being drunk when they are drunk themselves.

I love it that you call him "Schneider" :D
It reminds me of the handyman on One Day at a Time.

Seems about right, although I think Schneider was a little more useful than Snyder.
Holy cow, I thought the same thing.

Check out this arrogant post by an ExtremeSkins member:

Is this guy an art critic or a football fan? LOL

I can just imagine him watching a football game with a glass of red wine, wearing his Commanders cardigan, muttering to himself, "How dreadfully boring. Such incompetent play."

TBC, that guy has some issues. Another Skins fan told me his pomposity stems from some serious intellectual and professional inferiority complexes. Apparently his wife is a lawyer and he is a house husband/ extremeskins guardian. You know the deal.

He is, however, easily out-debated because his homerism is boundless. A Spurrier worshipper left with egg on his face. No where near as smart as he thinks he is. And zero sense of humour.

I remember that game vividly.

I was only 10 years old, but I remembered that game for a long time.

My dad told me to stop watching the game at halftime, that it was over and and that there was no way the Cowboys could come back.

He left the room, but I kept watching as they took the lead an won. I had always like the Cowboys, but that game is certainly one of the events that cemented me as a Cowboys fan for life. From that point on I never thought a game was out of reach for the Boys.

Thanks for posting that. :)

That game was my all time favorite non superbowl game. I was 15 years old and it was my first time going to a pro football game. I was so depressed at halftime and wanted to leave. RFK was deafening loud and the fans were yelling at all of the cowboy fans in the stands. But I felt that true fans support their team until the very end. Wathcing the comeback was awesome. You could feel the life being sucked out of RFK. Skins fans were cursing their team. FInally when it endeded, you looked up in the stands and fights were breaking out everywhere. I was watching the game in the endzone seats when a big fat drunk guy who weighed about 300 lbs walked up top me and pointed to the good year blimp and said "boy I'm going to kick your *** on national tv". Considering he outweighed me by 150 lbs. I got the hell out of there. When I finally got home that night I couldn't sleep I was so excited by that game.

They have a huge poll on the reasons why they hate the Cowboys. Someone with an "F Dallas" license plate has become the hero of ExtremeSkins. Several 100+ reply threads on why they will or won't beat the Cowboys. A few reminders that Jerry Jones once tried to hire Joe Gibbs. Caption Jerry Jones pics.

Meanwhile, at Cowboys Zone, we have a few matchup threads about the Skins and that's it. A thread about the Eagles game against he Vikings has more attention than the Commanders threads.

I guess when you win 12 of 13, the rivalry just doesn't have the same intensity anymore, even with Joe Gibbs. I don't know about you folks, but I've already chalked this one up as another win. Especially now that Ramsey is in and Arrington is out. They'll be tougher but I think our odds are pretty good even though we are the underdogs according to Vegas.

This is the game of the century for the Skins fans. If Joe Gibbs goes 3-13 but beats the Cowboys twice, I think he'll be the hero in D.C. How about we generate a little ol' fashioned pep rally against the Skins to get the rivalry hatred going?

LOL These threads that you speak of are traditions, not just something that was pulled out of a hat. Everyone does things differently, although, I will say that being on the receiving end of a losing record against an arch rival does make things a little more intense for us Skins fans. Try feeling it yourselves...oh wait, you can. Eagles & Vikings have your number for a couple of years now, huh?

Yeah, there's no hatred for US on this side of the rivalry, now is there?

I love how Cowboys fans act as though we are the only ones with a hatred in this thing of ours. Ya'll are no different in that we hate each other. I guess the only difference is we (Commanders fans) can be honest about where we stand. We hate the Cowboys...most of us with a vengeance.

So, if ya'll don't hate the Commanders (or the fans), then why would you bother to have "Commanders suck" flags & things of that nature if it didn't matter? That's what I thought.

And as I stated in the last post, obviously that goes both ways, but you guys apparently can't see past your own noses to notice that. I guess that's what happens when you spend your life looking down on people because you're a Cowboys fan, right? You only see what's right in front of you & generally can't see the forest for the trees. Ya'll have just as much hatred for the Commanders over here as we do do for the Cowboys over there. Ya'll are just "too good" to admit it.

Ahhhhh, mindless stereotyping from a witless Skins fan... you talk as if you know each and every one of us personally, troll...

Well, I don't mean to shock you, but THIS Cowboys fan doesn't care about the Skins one way or another... perhaps if they someday get back to being decent again, I can begin to perceive of them as a threat to the Boys, but I'm fairly confident that won't happen as long as that putz Danny Boy is running the show...

I DO hate Snyder, but it's because he's an abusive assh*le, not because he's the owner of the Skins... but I'm sorry, it's been years since Cowboys-Commanders got me worked up like it did in the good ol' days...

So, you're welcome to hate us all you want (unless your shrink has problems with that, LOL), but I'll just remain amused at the Skins' incompetence...

Bottom line, I'd say that your average Skins fan is a LOT more emotionally invested in the outcome of these Skins-Cowboys games these days than your average Cowboys fan is...

I don't know how many Skins fans exist outside of the D.C. metro.. but let me exlain this part of the skins fan constant frustration is how many Cowboys fans exist in D.C.-- it's absolutely amazing.. before the ticket I used to go to various sports bars and there is always a huge Cowboy following.. they can't stand the fact that there are so many Cowboy supporters in their back yard!!

I've noticed this over and over in your posts Wally, so I thought I'd go ahead and enlighten you, seeing as you're so "down" w/ our rural speak.

It's Y'ALL, you hyphenate the word "you", now see, don't you feel smarter already??!!

Well, now had you read my previous post, you would see that I make it clear that we Commanders fans are fueled by the losses. That's why I mentioned the Eagles & Vikings...ya know, pokin' a little...

You may one of the few then that don't hate the Commanders, I don't know. I was generalizing because I have yet to meet a Cowboys fan that DOESN'T hate the Commanders. But a lot of your comrads do, yet can't own up to it. When confronted with the possibility of being dubbed a "hater", they suddenly change their tune. "I don't hate the Commanders, I barely care about them", yet they wave a "Commanders suck" flag & post pics of Gibbs in the toilet. That's not hate?

My only point was that ya'll make fun of us for hating, but then most of you do the same thing. We have no issue with admitting to our hate. I will always hate the Cowboys, plain & simple. Even if we get a 12 game win streak against them, I will still hate them. All I'm sayin' is that own up to your hate, 'Boys, own up.

Well, seein' how I'm not from Tex-azz, my dialect is slightly different & the accent is farther into the word. It's not y'all, it's ya'll where I'm from. Now, run along... :)
