goes way beyond the team. Between the pathetic play because of practice restrictions; to the absolute nadir of officiating; to the commercials that make watching a game Live simply putrid; and on top of that the NFL hypocrisy and cowtowing to pressure groups; and now the players acting like their protests mean anything beyond their egos; and its all just getting too much.

I like Morris as a person...nice guy. However, we aren't going anywhere with him getting a majority of the carries. Split them between Smith and DMac. They're quicker to the hole and more physical IMO.

In a weird way, I am. Obviously, if I had my druthers, Zeke would play, but this situation does help put an end to several hypothetical arguments that we zoners tend to find ourselves in; #1 being is Dak good on his own merits or has his play simply been propped up by Zeke.

Well, to clarify I am still excited to watch the Cowboys. I also am interested in seeing what Dak and the offense can do. But I guess my point is no one is excited to see Alf or Rod, or anyone at rb who replaces Zeke. No one we have will be as fun to watch, however we arent with out hope.

There is a degree of truth to what your saying, but Smith showed a spark against admittedly lesser talent in preseason. He will never be Zeke, but imagine how excited you would be if one of them emerged to save the season and help put the Cowboys in the playoffs...this situation is the stuff movies are made out of. What looks likes insurmountable odds becomes just the spark this team needs to defy the odds and the naysayers and shock the football watching world. In life, perspective is everything...
