I don't buy the Dez Bryant to Cowboys talk.

We just have to much invested in that position already and how do we get Ogletree on the field if we draft Dez?

Roy is eventually going to be cut. Probably next year. But I don't think we will go looking for a receiver until he is moved.

At this point I hope we can get Maurkice Pouncey or just get out of the 1st round all together.

You are crazy. You don't pass up on a top 5 talent for any of those reasons. Now don't get me wrong, of DB is off our boards than OK, but if he isn't then you have to take him.

I'd love to have ET, but it would take our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and another pick to move all the way up to the 12th pick. Uh, no thanks. Maybe a few players thrown in would help, but as we already have seen (and should know), players value decrease vs draft picks value going toward the draft.

It wouldn't cost that much. Not at all. But it still is probably too much to give up, I agree there. I want Dez forget ET lol

That stinks. Love Barber but unless he renegotiates his contract he wont be here but a couple more years.
my only thing is I would rather lose Barber then Choice. Odds are Felix will be starting, but Choice needs carries.

With Miami im sure we could trade players plus a pick but after the Marshall trade I imagine everything is squashed.

I just don't see them moving around now.

This one hurts because I really wanted Earl Thomas and I have a feeling Dallas did too.

I disagree here too. I think Miami is more likely to move down.

Follow the money man. Dallas isn't going to invest that much money in receivers.

Odds are Bryant will be there if the rumors about 10 teams taking him off the board are true.

I hope and I hope it is with us.

I really hate to see us lose out on a player like Thomas. He is the type of safety we have all been wanting.

I think if Dez fell to 27 I would not be surprised to see Dallas get him. At 27 the money is manageable in the process Dallas gets a talented WR as well as a talented return man.

I understand that argument and it's a valid one to bring up. I just don't think it is smart to not draft him for those reasons. Like you said, Roy probably won't be here next year, why not draft his replacement now?

I imagine Dallas feels like they have to come away with a safety in the 1st 2 rounds so if Dez is the best player available im sure we will get a lot of phone calls for our pick and we will move down.

I like Dez as a player. I just didn't know he was so dumb going into this draft process.

Had a feeling that a trade had been worked out yesterday when he signed his UFA tender.

This is a really good move by Miami, they are in deserate need of some play makers on the outside and if it doesnt pan out they really arent out that much.

He is dumb, really dumb, i agree w you there. But WR IMO is a position where you can be dumb and succeed In the NFL.

With the way Laufenberg was talking I think his eventual replacement may already be on the team in Ogletree.

Ogletree kinda fits the mold of receiver that Romo likes to throw to.

I wouldn't be upset at all if we drafted Dez. Receivers are always exciting picks, but I just dont see Dallas making the move.

Dallas may trade the pick but as I said I would not rule selecting Dez as well. I think there are several good options out there for Dallas and who we select of course will come down to who is out there. You would like a safety that is something Dallas may do in the 2nd or 3rd round if like Earl Thomas is off the board early in the draft. Main thing I want to see in this draft is getting quality players if that is WR, OL, S, CB or LB then get them

You could be right. Dez WILL fall to the 20s and if Cincy or NE don't take him I think Dallas will. Dez is arguably a better prospect than crabtree was last year and crabtree came in with no training midway through the year and was playing lights out.

if you move and get say Ginn for a 5th or so. they could focus on a safety in the first. i really don't see a lineman picked with Free and Brewster here. maybe add dept later on. JMO

Austin Bryant Otree as our 1-2-3 in 11! That sounds beautiful to me
