If you use anything close to the "standard" draft value chart. It sure would cost a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to go from #27 to #12.

There is a new more agressive chart that would allow that trade top happen for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd (no 4th needed). That one may be more accurate now becasue of the there has a been a slight devaluing due to cost in the upper 1st round.

So the very minimum we would have to give up is most likely a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

You could be right. Dez WILL fall to the 20s and if Cincy or NE don't take him I think Dallas will. Dez is arguably a better prospect than crabtree was last year and crabtree came in with no training midway through the year and was playing lights out.

if you move and get say Ginn for a 5th or so. they could focus on a safety in the first. i really don't see a lineman picked with Free and Brewster here. maybe add dept later on. JMO

Some are saying Pouncey is the best center prospect in 10 years so he could be the pick.

And relying on Brewster as our backup tackle at this stage is just crazy.

I think he is physically a better prospect but Dez is so dumb that I would give the edge to Crabtree.

Our offense isn't the easiest to pick up either.

Don't get me wrong Marshall is a total loser, wife beater, bad attitude, etc.

But had we not given up an arm and a leg for Roy, Marshall would be a Dallas Cowboy today. Headache or not, Jerry has to be killing himself knowing that young, quality receivers are flying off the shelves at a bargain rate when he got a watered down version of Keyshawn for 3 picks.

I think there are alot of people who would argue that Marshall is the most physically talented WR in the NFL....and the Dolphins just stole him. Granted he seems to be a pretty despicable person off the field, but on it he's incredible. The only problem he's ever had with regards to football operations was a very legitimate one with his contract (i.e. T.O. in Philly, except worse) which his arrogant, worthless head coach made into a bigger deal than it needed to be.

Pretty phenomenal pickup by the Phins brass.

That it is. Acquiring him for two seconds is a great deal for Miami.

I think Dez is good I think Crabtree was much better. I seen both play in the big12 and Crabtree came up big in big game much more than what I saw from Dez. I think Crabtree is showing the kind of talent he is missing the camp like he did and yet was able to produce right off the bat.

No, he wasn't. Both were rated just about the same and Crabtree didn't miss a year worth of football like Dez has.
