He also had Antonio Bryant yet a different result.

Good point, but Bryant has gone through four more teams in his career after the Cowboys and none have tried to keep him. My point is, if you can't get your head straight under Parcells, then you most likely cannot get your head straight.

Brandon Marshall for a 2nd round pick.

He's 5 times the receiver Roy Williams is and we gave up a 1st, 3rd, and a 6th for an absolute scrub.

Get over it. Damn you people never stop crying. Jerry messed up, we know. We overpayed. GET OVER IT!!

Couple other things I think I think

I think the 19-21 picks in this draft are absolutely the best places to draft. Quality, quality players will be available and these teams can chose who they want from that group.

I also think Bey-Bey will be the 1st WR taken in this draft. His stock is soaring.

Sure it would.

If you use anything close to the "standard" draft value chart. It sure would cost a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to go from #27 to #12. There is a new more agressive chart that would allow that trade top happen for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd (no 4th needed). That one may be more accurate now becasue of the there has a been a slight devaluing due to cost in the upper 1st round.

Here are two extremes on draft charts

http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Value-Chart.php

http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2010/2/18/1315177/big-cat-country-2010-trade-value

So the very minimum we would have to give up is most likely a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

What charts did the Jets used last season when they moved up from #17 to #5 while giving up a 2nd round pick and 3 scrub players ?

How about Jax the year before when they moved from #26 to #8, and gave up two 3rd round picks and a 4th ?

Not sure any coach has that much control over todays players who make much more money than the coaches do and have the ability of movement through FA. If you have a problem player you better hope he grows up because the coach is not going to control that player

It won't affect the rumors, but he isn't going anywhere.

If I were Parcells I wouldn't want Barber, I'd take Choice.

Would you trade Choice for their 1 if the player we really wanted was there?

I would have to say yes....knowing that leaves us thin at RB (especially given the injury history of Barber and Jones).

Probably not, as we know what we have with Choice. Stick at #27 and pick a player.

Choice for their first round pick? In a nanosecond. Really?

I don't get all the love for Choice. Guess it's all about that pregame speech in college... Or something.

As if the Dolphins would trade their first for Choice.

Give me a break.

Yeah and Parcells doesn't think like that. He loves his FOBs. If he didn't he would have gone after Kurt Warner instead of Vinny Green Junk.

This really chaps me reading this. Marshall is a hell of a WR and he was had for a couple of 2nds. What we paid Roy and what we gave up for him was a out and out disgrace. Only if we could have Marshall on this offense instead of Roy to got opposite Austin WE WOULD BE SET!!!

WE could have had Percy Harvin, Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Marshall and Anquan Boldin all for less than what we gave up for Roy...

You would have been able to get all four of them for less a 1st and a third?

That'd be one heck of a receiving corps.

Why do you keep complaining about this? He is like having a third TE in the run game and can seal the edge like no other wide-out in the league.
