How do you figure that since Harvin and Nicks were both 1st rounders in the same draft?Bob Sacamano;3346742 said:WE could have had Percy Harvin, Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Marshall and Anquan Boldin all for less than what we gave up for Roy...
Bob Sacamano;3346757 said:But yes to turds on the field?
I forgot, you could give me 22 Roy Williamses and win a Super Bowl.
Hostile;3346739 said:Yeah and Parcells doesn't think like that. He loves his FOBs. If he didn't he would have gone after Kurt Warner instead of Vinny Green Junk.
I would. why not? then I would trade down to get more picks or pick an IMPACT player. unless you think Choice is an IMPACT player and that would be a stretch. a very long stretch.hornitosmonster;3346723 said:Would you trade Choice for their 1 if the player we really wanted was there?
I would have to say yes....knowing that leaves us thin at RB (especially given the injury history of Barber and Jones).
CowboysFaninDC;3346605 said:are you kidding me? the most talented WR in the league? you surely jest. I wouldn't put him in the top 10. he is a top 20 WR. dolphins over paid a little bit.
are you kidding? what do we have in Choice? is he an impact type player? what if Earl Thomas was on the board at #12? or Haden? we have Felix Jones who every one is clamoring to start. we still have barber and you can pick a 3rd string RB in the 4th like we did with Choice and Barber. or do you think Choice is one of the best RBs in the league?Arch Stanton;3346727 said:Probably not, as we know what we have with Choice. Stick at #27 and pick a player.
Hostile;3346760 said:How do you figure that since Harvin and Nicks were both 1st rounders in the same draft?
Harvin was off our Draft board anyway.
So we use our 1st on Nicks, our 2nd on Marshall, and a 3rd and 4th for Boldin and somehow that is less than a 1st, 3rd, and swap of 6th for 7th? Then throw in another 1st for Harvin and your fuzzy math just doesn't work.
Bob Sacamano;3346749 said:No, but he's like a 6th Olineman because he blocks downfield so well.

But that is irrelevant to the comment of Choice over Barber, which was my only commentary point. Parcells clearly also went ofter non FOB guys, but if he had none of his guys out there.Arch Stanton;3346766 said:True, but then is Brandon Marshall an FOB?
Damn, Warner would have been nice.

I probably was. I completely forgot to add a second 2nd rounder.CowboysFaninDC;3346782 said:don't you understand its called the new math. geez you must have been sleep in match class in HS :laugh2:
Arch Stanton;3346786 said:Nope. Keep your draft picks and take a player.
Apollo Creed;3346797 said:If we're gonna draft special teamers and JAGs this year then I'd rather we trade away our 1st for Atogwe, 2nd for Gaither, and a 6th for Ginn. We can use the rest on Linebackers of course.
