He is solidly in the middle of the pack.

Not the all-universe tackle he once proclaimed he'd be.

He's nothing to get overly excited about, yet.

i dont think anyone would complain if you put Solder ahead of Smith but this is where the line about how fast Brady gets rid of the ball comes into play.

brady is substantially faster at passing the ball then romo on a per play basis.

as a run blocker smith already rates higher than solder according to many metrics.

I prefer TS over Solder.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. The fact that our 22 year old LT was even "middle of the pack" in his first year playing LT is something to get very excited about. I'm consistently stunned by the unrealistic expectations some fans have towards draft picks.

This is a bizarre comment.

Here is 22 year old young man, playing left tackle for one year and he was good enough be be middle of the pack (as you stated), but in my mind, he played bit better than middle of the pack, but even if he did played average, can't you see upside to this young man who just got done playing LT for one year?

In my mind, he will be better this season, how much better? I have no idea but one year of experience and working out, gaining few pounds, I can't see nothing but improvement from TS.
