Breakout Cowboys 2006

Actually Bledsoe is much faster than he is given credit for. He called Brady out and challenged him to a footrace and Brady declined.

Its Bledsoes legandary toughness and ability to hold the ball to the last millosecond is sometimes translated to slowness.

I am not done grading out every Bledsoe completion yet but so far he has 23,875 yards on completions where he released the football less than 1/10 of a second before getting hit. Amazing - the Statue got nerve.

Elusive speed is much different than strait away speed.

Example......My wheelchair will do 30mph in the straight away

But.......when I try to zig or zag it ends up on its side or in the gutter.

It's the gin and tonic. More tonic, less gin.

I forgot all about that Nors! Yet another classic Bledstud moment!

But It's pointless trying to argue that Bledsoe is fast, because according to some mods and posters on this board even a 12 year old could beat him.:laugh1: :laugh2:

That sounds like quite a project. What are you using to determine the times where "he released the football less than 1/10 of a second before getting hit."?

However, I do encourage you to spend more time on it.

can't you take a joke? If I said I could throw farther than Bledsoe would you freak out? (I can promise you now I couldn't throw a tenth as well as Bledsoe, and my asthmatic lungs probably wouldn't allow me to even run as fast, but jeez, take a joke

I was just being sarcastic homeboy! If you said you could throw farther that's one thing, but nobody is as accurate and deadly as Bledstudsoe:bow:

If you have not already, volunteer for the Parenting with Dignity Mac Bledsoe program and you might get invited to Bledsoe's ranch and outdoor training facility.

His deadly accuracy and pinpoint downfield tosses are due to years and years of hard work and highly regimented workouts.

His standard warm up is the 20, 40, 60, 80 Drill. He lines up 10 soup cans at 20, 40, 60 and 80 yards. He does a progression of hitting each can - this usually takes about 10 minutes.

He likes to work on 75 yard tosses alternating hitting the left and right uprights.

Another favorite is throwing deep goes to a receiver on a snowmobile. He has yet to underthrow a sled more than once.

Good stuff -

Voices?

From a guy who thinks he can outrun Bledsoe?:laugh1:

Are you being serious about this nors? Or being a wiseguy like some other posters on this board?:laugh1:

I will voice my opinion....

On offense- Al Johnson returns to his 2nd year form and begins to dominate and make line calls like Kevin Mawae.
Julius Jones and Marion Barber become a 2-headed monster with MB3 becoming the more exciting and tackle to tackle guy.
Crayton returns to pre-injury form, and shows he could be a great No. 2 guy
On defense-Burnett comes out of TC and preseason on fire and wins the ILB spot.
Canty and Spears become top 3-4 bookends....

You arrange the race with Drew.

Drew Bledsoe
c/o Dallas Cowboys
One Cowboys Pkwy.
Irving, TX 75063

Then name your stakes.

For the record, I never said I'd beat him, I did say I'd run it. I'm pretty confident of the outcome.

I'm rooting for Burnett also. Seems like we are haunted with our 2nd rounders. There were two other LBs drafted in that round that went to the Pro-Bowl. I would hate to see us waste another 2nd rd. pick.

how can you call a 1st year player a waste of a pick?
