I'll believe when he doesn't show up for Minni's first game... :laugh1:

The Vikings will still be one of the top teams without Favre. I predict they still win their division.

You mean when they return to being one dimensional and that one dimension is fumble prone. Their 37 year old defensive tackle can't use steroids or HGH anymore?

I'm thinking Green Bay is going to win that division.

Same here. We saw what the Vikings were like without Favre, or more accurately, with TJ, and if that's who they have to go with this year, I certainly don't expect that team to beat the Packers for the division title.

Thank god, let's hope it's for real this time.

Nope. I don't hope that at all. I'd like for him to comeback again.

Then again I'm not at all ashamed to admit that I'm a Favre fan, always have been, and I love to see the guy play. So I hope he changes his mind again and plays, and plays well, again.

I agree. I was thinking, leaning toward really, Green Bay winning the division even if Favre returned to Minny.

Without Favre playing for the Vikings I'm feeling pretty good that Green Bay will walk away with that division this year.

Even with Favre, Minnesota would not have won that division. He's not duplicating last season, or anywhere close to it.

Green Bay is the better team in 2010.

Guess it's time to turn off sports talk radio for the next month. All the Favre ********* is nauseating.

Do you think Rodgers is going to duplicate his 2009 season? Will the Green Bay defense duplicate their 2009 season? Can Charles Woodson have another good season?

I think Rodgers has a better chance of producing like he did last year than the Green Bay defense does. And I don't think Rodgers will be quite as effective as he was last year. There will be a slight drop off with him, but a bigger drop off on the defensive side.

Wade at the PC today...

"Did you hear the news that Favre retired?"

"I dunno, is that news?

"Someone asked me if I'd heard he'd retired, and I said, 'Again?'"

omg

That Paul Allen is a disgrace to the industry.

Seriously that guy is tragically bad at his job.

The GB defense was banged up last year. I think with the second year w/ Capers at DC, they should be at least as good.

I thought they were as good or better of a team even with Favre in Minny this coming year.

Guess we'll see....that's why they play the games.
Can't wait.

Can't believe that publicity ***** will not return.

Favre, being a Philistine, has only one life, football.

Good player, just tiresome in his diva ways. Begone and never darken the NFL's door again!

Yes, yes, and yes, are my answers.

Green Bay is legit. And I hate to say that, I'm surrounded by the lame-*** NFC North and all their fans lol
