It’s about getting the best five on the line and if Bebe needs to move to guard so Hoffman can start at center then so be it
Hoffman is RFA. Likely gone. I don’t see Dallas matching, or placing a 1st/2nd on him.

They need $$$ for OSA.

And CooperBB is crushing it at C.

HELL YEAH!!!! BROCK HOFFMAN is the man!!!!
:dance: :bow::starspin:

I told y'all for the past 2 years that Brock Hoffman needed to start! Now he is showing/proving why. Heck, keep Hoffman starting at Right Guard! Time to bench Zack Martin...
The video you showed in the other thread was absolute beast mode. We need a guy like that in the middle of the D line.

Totally with you here. As soon as I started hearing the hype I thought to myself, "So this is the next guy to be pumped up?" Everyone wants to get in on the ground floor so they can tell you they told ya.
Until you take things seriously, do some recent games research and realize Brock Hoffman totally dominated All Pro DTs DeRon Payne (Commanders) and Dexter Lawrence (Giants) in back-to-back games.

Yep, y'all sound ridiculous afterwards ... SMH

Definitely. When they are right...we never hear the end of it.

If they are wrong we never hear about it again. MAYBE..the ridiculous insincere "glad I was wrong" gimmick.

Why people need that pitiful self-reinforcement...is... weird.

And who was he blocking? Did the DT have any moves/strength? Was he blocking a JAG?

Sometimes a player can look good simply because he matches up well w/ the guy across from him. For example, a power blocker may be able to stymie a power rusher, but a speed rusher may run around him like he's not even there.

I would hardly consider Dexter Lawrence a “ Jag “

Not sure you are from the DFW area but it’s just a private school where the tuition is over 30K per year. They would get smoked by the Duncanvilles and Desoto’s of the world.

No I was just joking . Im aware some on this board want Witten to make the jump from beating Jesuit to crashing the Lions flag planting .

Our last two games we’ve had a 100 yard rusher, Hoffman has been in the starting lineup.

Last week against the giants and 2023 at Arizona.
Cards were 32nd vs the run in 2023. That's last.

Giants are 29th vs the run this year.

Might not want to come to conclusions about players when facing the worst D's in the NFL.

I'm all for young guys working out. However, what I'm not for is taking a very small sample size and thinking that player is the next coming. Don't forget Doug Free, Crawford, Jaylon, Underwear Thief, Brandon Carr. Let the kid play against various types of players first and then we'll talk. Beating up on a bad Giants team proves nothing.
He's going one on one with the probably the Giants best player there.

Easy there, tenderheart. Small sample size is what was said. Wasn't long ago that folks were patting Guyton in the back for doing a decent job against Myles Garrett. As the sample size grew so did the flaws.

You are among the worst of understanding football or evaluating players.

Best if you stop posting and sounding so ignorantly ridiculous.

1 All Pro defender vs 2 All Pro defenders. Big difference. Plus, if you would pay better attention over the past 2 years, you would know Brock Hoffman is way better and along in his development than rookie Tyler Guyton.
