And look at their OL and RBThey get Marshall and we get Butler.

Who do you see as our starting #2 then? I'm hoping it's someone in the draft, but I suppose time will tell.

No, I'm not saying re-signing Butler is "the answer", just that I much prefer that to overpaying Williams to be that 4th or 5th option. I don't think that this closes the book on anything else.
I think that this market is set to be all kinds of crazy.
I dont want him as a #2, but a lot of you need to lighten up on the dude. Hes much better than Street or any other #4 weve had in awhile.
Not any longer...Stephen says he's our new #2 until further notice.I hope not. He's a 4 or 5.
If I were guessing the ballpark would be $6-8 million/year for 4-5 years. Maybe 3 years with more money. What do you think he'll get?
Maybe I am totally in left field but I think he's going to get less than Marshall.
I do think we'll have to overpay someone (nature of free agency), but if we're going to overpay, hopefully we'll make it worthwhile.
Maybe but not that crazy where Pierre Garcon gets AJ Green, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, D. Thomas money.
Our entire D choked in the playoffs. Sure lets all blame butler lolAnd he choked in the playoffs. Then again, he is young.
Does anyone know how fast he is?
I think there could be a cheaper option or two. I've looked at Ted Ginn and Kendall Wright.
Could be possibilities. You know, I don't really care if Butler ends up winning the No. 2 job, as long as he actually has to win it against quality competition.
