Broaddus: A chance they will try to pass Darius Jackson through waivers

It does not matter what Dunbar and McFadden have done or not done; they are on the team. If Jackson wants to replace them, he is going to have to do something more than what he has already done. That is, if the Cowboys have not seen enough.
He has already replaced them. Mcfadden is injuried and can't help the team right now. Hard to be on the depth chart when you haven't practiced all training camp

He has shown more than enough to project as a very good RB. He will only get better and is too athletic to let walk. He has done well playing with 2nd and 3rd string OL. If he gets the chance with the 1st OL, who knows how well he may do. Way too much talent under control for pennies for the next 4 years to let walk in favor of one more year of McFadden.
He got 1 carry with the starting OL against Miami......went for 20 yards. Was called back due to bogus holding call and most only look at box score and didn't see that. He hit that run so fast and smooth it was almost Zeke like. Beautiful, can't imagine if he got 5 carries a game behind starting OL

So another 6th rounder down the crapper?? Keep the dude already as he's looked really good and Seattle or Washington will swoop him immediately!

I think it would be a dumb move, who says Jackson would sign on to our practice squad. Didn't they initially draft him because they didn't think he would sign as a UDF?
If they want to keep him, then keep him but don't be surprised if he goes to a greener pasture

It'll be throwing a 6th rounder down the drain if they relegate him to the PS. He'll be picked up the 1st day.

Far more people want to simply assume that the coaches know all and never miss, when the reverse is actually the case.

After all, these are the people who brought you the Joseph Randle era and the C-Mike experiment.

But yeah, they got this!

Lol... funny, but I'll take the opinion of the coaches who see the RBs all day, every day, before I'll take the opinion of someone who saw a few plays on TV.

When have you seen the coaches say they are trying to cut Jackson? Or just reading what media that has no clue what is said behind doors.....especially for a guy they want to get on the practice squad

I didn't say they said that. I'm responding to the folks who think they know better than the coaches do.

You go ahead and do that. Just don't forget about the facts while you're at it.

The team sees him in practice everyday so maybe one carry is all he's earned with our starting OL. I doubt very seriously with us starting the season with a rookie QB and rookie RB that the team is going to go with 2 rookie backs as part of our rotation. You need more experience in there and McFadden along with Morris gives us some experience.

What facts, like the fact that you have a different opinion?

The facts I provided earlier. The same people you choose to put your faith in also believed in Joseph Randle to replace Murray. And traded for Christine Michael, before giving him back to Seattle.

They deserve to be questioned.
