Yeah, I think of it based on allocation of resources. They aren't tied to Kneeland but what about Jerry? Tell him Kneeland isn't starting material? Keep in mind OP is saying if we stay at 12.....
Think about it .......DL = Parsons, Osa, Fowlers, Mazi, Sam Willaims, and Kneeland are likely getting major snaps. It seems their investment in Osa and Fowlers is removing DLine from any consideration at 12 UNLESS a surprise drop ( Carter or Graham )
At end, we have a first-round pick, two second-round picks (one of which we got just last year), two former first-rounders as FAs (one being our top free agent costwise this year).
At receiver, we have a first-round pick, a third-rounder, two former second-rounders as FAs (one low-cost, the other costing a fourth-round pick this year), a sixth-rounder, a seventh-rounder and a UDFA.
Unless we let the fourth-rounder we spent on Mingo hang us up, we've clearly spent less quality resources on WR.
Allocated resources are even worse at CB with no first-round picks (other than the one we traded for cheaply) and same at running back.
