The 49ers have played 7 playoff teams, including Seattle 3 times. The won 6 of those 7 games, including beating Seattle 3 times. The lost to the Chiefs. The 49ers have played only 1 division winner though.

Dallas has played 9 games against playoff teams and won 6 of them. But the played 7 games against division winners and won 4 of them. Overall the Cowboys played a much tougher schedule.

One thing that sticks out to me is the 49ers played only 1 team that I consider a top offense. That was KC, and the 49ers defense gave up 44 points. I think Broaddus is right. I think the Cowboys, if Good Dak shows up, can score some points against them.
Thanks for the breakdown. KC did lay a beating on them. I agree with you and Broaddus, if the offensive line and Dak repeat their performance we can put some points on them. We're not the Rams or the Panthers.

I agree with BB. This game is about Dak. We need to go in and try a pass all over these guys Period.

Broaddus on 105.3 the fan breaking down the upcoming cowboys vs niners match up. He sounds really optimistic about our chances and thinks our Oline can block their Dline and take advantage of their secondary. He also says that these guys can be run on too! After breaking down a few 9er games he says we've handled a more difficult defense in the Philadelphia Eagles and should be able to handle these guys.

Some positivity here to keep yall away from the cliffs edge.....

Just believe the opposite of whatever Broaddus says.

Any Broaddus breakdown is about as valuable as the used vacuum tubes of a septic cleaner. The guy has proven to be unbelievably dumb.

Don't agree with BB . If you don't help the OL, Dak will have 3 seconds to get the ball out. I'd rather chip with the TE , using CeeDee and Pollard in the slots.

In Tampa, Dak had time and more importantly, he had a solid pocket allowing him to see the field . Not going to be the case Sunday.
the key is for the OL not to allow pressure just with their front 4. if we can do that, then offense can somewhat dictate. they would then have to bring additional defenders to create pressure. if we keep TEs in, then we help blocking, but if TEs go into a short route, there is space behind the defenders and those are quick 2 second passers that beats the pass rush.... last year, we couldn't stop their front 4, they had LBs sitting and waiting and then dropping if necessary. the passing lanes were scarce. the key for us will be neutralizing their DTs. Biadasz has had problems with bigger, more powerful DTs. Kinlaw will be a challenge for him. Zeke might need to play a little on passing downs to chip a little and slow the pass rush.

I like using a TE as it creates a 6 on 4 allowing 2 double teams. Dak needs time.
