I think he'll end up moving to OT. He's listed at 290 now.

That would be potentially awesome. He could also potentially come in and block in that jumbo role that Looney does now. He's an intriguing prospect and he's come farther, faster than I thought he would.

I'd rather have Gathers on the roster than Mayle. I'm guessing that if a team came sniffing around Gathers, the Cowboys would swap Mayle and Gathers.

Dallas is already paying him the rookie minimum despite being on the Practice Squad, where players usually make about 1/4 of the minimum.

The Cowboys can even increase Gathers' salary if another team shows interest.

I doubt he wants to leave.
