Will the Cowboy play him if he is a great receiver but not a better blocker than Swaim/Hanna?I would take that in a heartbeat !
I think he'll end up moving to OT. He's listed at 290 now.
That would be potentially awesome. He could also potentially come in and block in that jumbo role that Looney does now. He's an intriguing prospect and he's come farther, faster than I thought he would.
My guess is that Rico Gathers will be on the 53-man roster before the end of the season.
I have no clue what the cowboys would or wouldn't do but if develops where they hope he will, i guess we will find outWill the Cowboy play him if he is a great receiver but not a better blocker than Swaim/Hanna?
BEFORE the end of the season? Doubtful IMHO.

Maybe, but I'd hate to see another team scoop him up at the end up the year.

"Hi there. My name is Dak Prescott."
I hope notVince Mayle got called up instead of Rico Gathers when Geoff Swaim was placed on IR.
Let that sink in.
Gathers isn't ready to play NFL football yet.
Rico Gathers is an unrestricted free agent, he'll only sign with another team if he wants to.
Dallas is already paying him the rookie minimum despite being on the Practice Squad, where players usually make about 1/4 of the minimum.
The Cowboys can even increase Gathers' salary if another team shows interest.
I doubt he wants to leave.
I wish I could trust Broaddus not to BS me.
Lol, yep. I like Broaddus more than most, but nobody can be more sincerely wrong about something like he can. He typically always owns up to it though.
