I was scratching my head as well. I doubt we ever had a shot at Charles Woodson.
Probably why Parcells "fired" him. lol

More so with OL. He couldn't draft an OL to save his life. Give him credit for bringing in the injured RT from Chicago-can't think of his name, right nowParcells made a lot of mistakes
In a 3-4 he wasn't supposed to get sacks. A sure thing doesn't mean you get a great player, it means you get what you expect from him. He produced what Parcells expected.
You can disagree, but we did get to the playoffs with Parcels after a really long drought.
That wasn't how I read it. Reading comprehension is your friend.Wait, are you trying to say Marcus Spears is the reason we got to the playoffs?
Who is Davis, lad?On the latest draft show Broaddus says why he was fired from the Cowboys.
Says Parcells fired him because he argued with him over Charles Woodson. Saying he argued for him but Parcells was saying he couldnt coach a malcontent. As Davis has labeled Woodson that. And Dallas never brought in Woodson because Parcells didnt want him.
Don't want to speak for him but I think he meant Al Davis. Davis had told anyone who would listen that Woodson was a malcontent because Crazy Al couldn't railroad him.Who is Davis, lad?
I see. Thanks, good lad!Don't want to speak for him but I think he meant Al Davis. Davis had told anyone who would listen that Woodson was a malcontent because Crazy Al couldn't railroad him.

Spears was an above average starting caliber 3-4 DE before injuries derailed his career.
I hear you but the next person isn't Randy Gregory and vice versa. Imagine if you liked a girl and she said she couldn't date you because your a fan of the same team her ex liked. I know that isn't the best example but I know you get what I'm saying lol. To be successful you have to take educated chances and if you're always second guessing yourself you won't be in much that you do.I want to agree but did you see Gregory's interviews at the draft? I believed (and I think he believed) him when he said he won't ever be an issue. He barely lasted a season before issues cropped up.
There are guys in this draft who have issues and are no where near as convincing that they know how to turn it around (Tim Williams, Taber, etc).
Spence seemed as sorry as Gregory, but I can understand why they were reluctant a year after Gregory
Al davis lad, obviously if ur talking bout Woodson in his early yrs only davis one would talk about would be al davis.Who is Davis, lad?
Parcells also famously wanted Spears over DEMARCUS WARE.
Yeah, the guy wasn't great.
One of the most standup men to ever play in the NFL was a malcontent?
Wait, are you trying to say Marcus Spears is the reason we got to the playoffs?
Of course, Al Davis! (Hand to me ample forehead)Al davis lad, obviously if ur talking bout Woodson in his early yrs only davis one would talk about would be al davis.
That is what Jones does every year and it hasn't worked.
Marc ColomboMore so with OL. He couldn't draft an OL to save his life. Give him credit for bringing in the injured RT from Chicago-can't think of his name, right now
Hindsight is 20/20. You gotta remember in 2005 Spears was a big time prospect and Ware was somewhat of a project. At the time we got great value in Spears. He just turned out to be a jag
Parcells made a lot of mistakes
