Can someone name one Wisconsin rb that has done anything in the NFL after having a great career in college. The Badgers offense is setup for any rb to have great numbers, they have these huge lineman and just overpower most teams.

Alan Ameche?

Haha, this is what we're basing this on now? Pro-bowl? Ingram had FOUR games last season that showed a good performance. That was all. Outside of that, he was mediocre.

I ,unlike you, actually watch and analyze games. New Orleans was willing to run the ball when Ingram was finding holes, they didn't run the ball when the guy was rushing for under 4 yards a carry. How many games was that? 6 games, and he missed 3 games last year.

You are downgrading incredibly from Murray to Ingram. You are getting a far slower, just as injury prone (Maybe even more so), and less powerful back in Ingram. Not to mention, he's not much of a receiver either.

You don't bring a change of pace back in to replace a 3 down RB.

And, you know me how? I watch the All-22 footage all the time - too much so for the Mrs. liking. And, you say they ran when he was finding holes.......ummm, is that NOT the fault of the OL for not providing the holes? That's what I saw WHEN I WATCHED THE GAME FILM - a patient runner that often made the best of what a porous run blocking line gave him - which is NOWHERE what Dallas' OL provided for it's RB's.

Again, my post is based of what the coaches and players thought of him, but they OBVIOUSLY don't know what you do.........

You can like what you want. that is your choice. but he is not very good. he is a big downgrade from Murray.waste of time in my opinion.

Prior to what I saw out of Ingram last year, I would agree with you. But he could give us 1200-1300 and 10 tds I think. Downgrade over Murray? Sure, but significant? No.

Hell no. I'd rather pay Murray 8-10 million, and I really don't even want Murray back at any price to be honest, but I'd do it if it meant staying away from this bum.

We don't need any more bums like MO. ****

An OL can provide holes for an RB an an RB not having the vision to find the hole. Do you guys think Ingram just came into the league? This has been his problem since he was a rookie. He's not a great RB, he's not even good. There's hardly any OL in the league that created holes like our OL did and plenty of RBs played consistently good/great, that wasn't the case with Ingram.

And you saying coaches and players thought that of him tells me you don't have an opinion of your own. If you can't form an argument for him yourself, there is absolutely no reason to be responding to me.

Ingram looked good last year when he wasn't hurt. First year he looked good though. If he could stay healthy he would be a good fit here.

My opinion is simple - I think he can be a quality replacement. Yeah, I formed it all by myself. I watch tape as well, and while he is no AP (Murray isn't either), he had some damn good games this year. He basically had the same output against SF as Murray and gashed GB for 172.

If you feel your such a high and mighty talent evaluator, PLEASE tell me you're currently getting paid by the NFL like a few other folks that think he's good. If not, shut up and understand that NO ONE has to agree with you dude.

Have you seen the Saints cap mess? They're like $28M OVER. It's been reported they want him back - they just have to clear A LOT of cap space.

You don't have to agree with me, just don't counter my arguments with something like "Bro, do you even work for an NFL team?".

One again, he had FOUR games where he played "damn good", four. And because of those four games, you want this guy to be the replacement to a 3 down back?

We have 4 seasons of tape on Ingram, and because of 4 games, he's now the answer. That's not taking into account the guy could hardly stay healthy in 4 years of playing and couldn't beat out RBs in front of him his first 3 seasons.

And thankfully, it doesn't look like Ingram will be coming here.

Exactly.

He averaged 4.2 YPC, behind an offensive line that was bad overall.
