Can we all agree that the whole Claiborne thing is headed in the wrong direction?

It's still early to make any decisons like that. He was hurt and we did switch defenses. Next summer he better be on his game or the amount of heat he gets will rival what Austin is getting this year.

Claiborne has played better but folks are kidding themselves if they think some lightswitch is going to off and he'll live up to the expectations of a top 10 pick. At best he can be a solid number 2 corner in this league, at best. He's never going to be anywhere near the player Jerruh advertised.

very highly in my eyes till stafford and cj got a hold of him.

carr is easily a top 10 corner though.

Claiborne has had a lot of good moments in the last few weeks. Its hard playing corner in this league. I think its way too early to jump ship on the guy.

He played on a good team. He never had the measureables that Pat Peterson had.

Ok, I've made it clear to everyone on the forum that I've hated this pick since the minute the trade was announced. Guys like Decastro, Wagners and even Jenkins IMO are all outplaying this kid. That being said, I've always hated the pick b/c of the resources given up to attain him, not necessarily the player so much. I didn't make a big hoopla about his injuries in the preseason but I did make a mental note that the kid seemed too comfortable pulling himself out when it was obvious he needed reps. Well this tweet from Broaddus today is making me wonder if we have a kid with an attitude problem. Not necessarily that he's a bad guy, he seams like a sweet kid off the field, but that he's too content missing practice (he keeps missing them for migraines too)...that's how I interpret Broaddus' tweet.

I didn't see these threads on Claiborne against the Eagles and Commanders. His guy didn't catch anything on him last game either. What else is he supposed to do? Give up zero catches every game?
