On Rod Smith’s 81 yard TD, the safety went straight for Dez and left the whole field open for Rod. He didn’t even bother to look at Rod, despite Smith having a LB on him..

Just stop with these absurd myths..
I guess you doesn't watch the game which makes sense since you have no clue. It's no myth. Just Google it.

Dez just isn't the same without an elite QB. He runs limited routes and has a very specific skill set. Unless he is used in just the right way, he becomes much more of a JAG. Until Dak develops and learns how to use him, this is what he is IMO. There could be some truth to the injury concerns, but we won't know that tell end of season, if at all. I believe another part of this is Dak's unwillingness to make some of the throws that Dez is elite at. These throws have much more risk, which goes against the very trait that made Dak so good last year, risk aversion.
After reading the first sentemce, that could apply to alot of players........but instead of using that as an excuse to fail, "elite" players rise up from the ashes.....Dez misses balls that hit him in the hands, chest, face......that's on him, not the QB.

Exactly right. The type of throws dez wants, dak doesn’t really want to do. So they are fundamentally on different pages

Actually it is.. he was scared of pressure and because of that he didn’t follow througg.. By the time the DL became anywhere near a threat, the pass was already gone..

So yeah Dak got scared by pressure, pressure that had no bearing on whether or not he should have made that pass.

Like I said, just stop the excuses..

Your blind hatred is becoming comical now :lmao2::lmao2:

OK coach, what was the read?? Since according to you,'he should not have made that pass"?

With the way Dez runs with the ball after a catch, it is no surprise that he is injured a lot. He looks for contact and looks to punish tacklers. I think he would be wise to not do that anymore. But, I doubt he will change.

With Zeke coming back, we will soon find out how good Dez is. If Dez can't get open consistently with teams keying on Zeke, then I would say it is time to move on unless he is willing to take a pay cut.

Teams are moving toward hitting the open guy as soon as possible, not waiting for a play to develop. I doubt Dez is that type of WR.

Demaryius Thomas has probably dropped even further than Dez has. Denver is probably thinking about moving on from Thomas.

How many qbs came into a situation like Dak did, maybe Big Ben? The team that took our formula is N.O., they have a dominating run game but if that doesn't work Brees can still throw for 350 and 4 tds , that's what we had with Romo. If our running game isn't working we're in trouble.

that's what we had with Romo.

Romo isnt here anymore. Time to let it go.

With a great run game Dak was off the chain, even as a rookie. If you give me a bad Oline, no run game and a bad defense, then I would rather have Romo because he can sling it all over the place all on his own.

But again, he isnt here anymore. Lucky to have Dak.

It's clear that both Dak and Dez aren't playing well. Dez isn't top 5 anymore and Dak has been wildly inaccurate.

The major issue with Dez is that he can't get open and he drops way too many balls. He ALWAYS has a DB pinned to his hip. The target area to get him the ball is about one foot or the DB just slaps it away, same with tWilliams. T.O seemed to be 5 yards away from the nearest DB many times per game.
Would you take TO today over TWill? I'd consider it haha

And what was the problem with him the previous two years?
His problem has been not having Tony Romo. It’s no coincidence his production dropped off at the same time Romo left.

Dez stats last season Romo was here:
88 catches
1320 yds
16 td’s

That’s not a coincidence.

Have you seen how Jordy Nelson’s production has dropped off this year? What do you attribute that to? Some are saying its because he doesnt have Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball to him.

Occam's Razor.

Dak is the problem. Not Dez.

I can most likely find WRs who can work with Dak's style. Dak needs speedy WRs and good route runners. I can find very, very few QBs who can succeed with what Dez needs. Dez needs QBs who will unleash the ball to Dez even though he is covered like a blanket, place the ball a little higher than the DBs head, and hope Dez will go up and get it. Asking a lot from a QB to gain that much trust with Dez. Romo had a younger Dez and Dez at his peak. Dez is on the downside and he just isn't getting separation. Dak doesn't have time to wait for Dez to get open enough for Dak to have confidence in getting the ball to him.

So, in my opinion, Dez is the problem. If it comes down to a Dak or Dez situation, Dez is history. Plenty of Dezs out there. Very, very few Daks.

Can't be, Jordy is not what he used to be just look at his stats the last 7 games. Now on a totally unrelated note, Rodgers missed the last 7 games due to a shoulder injury but those teo thing have nothing to do with each other. Lol
