I should reiterate, that as hard as I've been on Dez, I do still want him to remain on the team - just at a reduced price. I still think he's valuable to the team, but just not at his current price tag.
He would not be able to handle that. The holdout for the big contract was all about ego. He wanted to be the highest paid WR. He didn't care about the specific dollar amount, he just wanted to be the highest paid.

Exactly, and on this play he's in the slot so it's harder to double him. People need to realize, when he's outside, he's doubled all the time. He occupies two guys on every play. The bigger issue is why can't Williams get open a lot more. He's singled up but he never goes deep. Witten doesn't get the safety anymore because he doesn't have the speed.
Dez is not doubled very often. You have to watch the coaches film to really see it.

The entire offense is built on "limited routes." We have no idea what Dez is capable of.
I don't disagree with you, but he runs limited routes in this offense. I wish we would do more creative things with Dez, but the coaching staff has been consistently opposed to it.

Where are we now? I like Dak but he's a fair to middling qb, a bus driver right now. That doesn't mean he won't get better but as of now all our receiver's stats are going to suffer.

Lets be honest here. That is a stupid comment. Dak having the 2nd best rookie season for a QB in NFL history is far from middling. I would agree his last 6 games without Zeke and some Olineman have been rather paltry. A bad stretch. But is as far as I would take it.

Dak needs to work on his accuracy and we wouldn't be having this issue today.

With Romo he would have at least 3-4 more catches that Romo threw a back shoulder or a strike on a slant. Even if he was covered. Look at Witten and half the passes he caught with Romo.

Have you ever gone on a tour there and looked at the whole ranch and inside of the house ?
No. The house is much smaller than it appeared on TV.

I know some people that took the tour. Nobody seemed impressed.

There is a local BBQ joint that has signed pics of many of the actors. I guess they frequented the place.

How many qbs came into a situation like Dak did, maybe Big Ben? The team that took our formula is N.O., they have a dominating run game but if that doesn't work Brees can still throw for 350 and 4 tds , that's what we had with Romo. If our running game isn't working we're in trouble.

There is a group here that I call the Dez Fan Boiz. They will make any excuse and they get very nasty when confronted. They accused me of things I can't even discuss here that have nothing to do with football.

Not just you my friend. The fanatic cheerleaders dump on anyone who criticizes anything Cowboys. Just the nature of the internet these days. No civility.
