Dez hasnt been productive for years. Those are the facts.

And what is worse?

A fan hating Dez or a fan hating Dak? Talk about dumb.

Dak is a 2nd year QB that the 2nd best rookie year in the history of the league. Won rookie of the year last year. You take away a half the oline and Zeke and he has struggled some like everyone else.

Dez is simply over paid and over the hill.

Dez was the top receiver in go routes in Romo’s last seasons. TWill despite being number 3 in the league as a number 2 WR has also dropped to garbage even in Dak’s first season.

Dak can’t make teams pay anymore because they’ve taken Beasley away from him and he can’t throw that route, just like he couldn’t his first year here..

Those are the numbers contrary to your ‘facts’..

True he had 9 picks in his best season. But he had many other season that were much much worse.

Look, I love Romo and I love Dak. Two completely different QB's. Its actually pathetic for any fan to dislike either one.

Dez on the other hand hasnt been productive for 4 years. Facts are stubborn things.

Because in those other seasons Garrett didn’t allow him in game planning and had no choice over play calls even if he didn’t like them.

And Garrett had his brother as passing game coordinator and couldn’t establish a run game, had a garbage OL and so on.. we were bottom of the league in play action and red zone scoring by the end of the Garrett era..

Our best offense was up tempo andno huddle when they abandoned Garrett’s miserable offense after the first half..

Dak hasn’t ever seen those conditions so just stop., Dak with Kevin Ogletree would be a monstrosity to behold..

And Dez three years ago had the high ankle sprain and he didn’t play a full season in that monstrosity if a season. So going back three years and two of those with Dak, while numbers still show Dez as great over the middle on digs and slants, is just Dez hate plain and simple..

He needs an accurate QB.

How people fail to see this, amazes me

This should be an easy pitch and catch

It's the elephant in the room that noone want to talk about. Dak flaws makes Dez looks worst than he is, it's the same with Beasley. Beasley been open all season but it's just not a wide window but if it's Brady or even Phillip Rivers throwing in that window Beasley has about 600 yards this season

I'm looking at a QB getting pressure from his right side and not able to follow thru on the pass, which cause it to sail high??? What am I missing??

Romo had 7 or 9 picks when he finally had Linehan and was allowed in game planning in his MVP season and was basically perfect in sub zero temperatures on the road on Lambeau with a credible OL. Jerry asked Romo about picking Frederick for a reason..

Unlike Dak, Romo still has the guts to throw the ball in crappy conditions..

Just stop...

Listen bub, your not going to get an argument from me that Romo was a better pure passer. He was, that is a fact.

But Dez just isnt the receiver he used to be. And has now had 3 bad years in a row. Even when Romo was here in those years and Dez was healthy they werent nailing it. Dez would disappear for whole games or whole halves.

Under Zeke, this team has ALSO become a run first oriented team. And when you lose a guy like Zeke that the offense and Dak depend on so much that is going to create issues.

You call three seconds in the life of QB pressure and that being his first read? That’s what you call his pre-draft scouting flaws which is hesitating easy throws because he ‘feels a guy’..

TO was known for his drops too even when putting up HOF numbers. That continued here and it was that specific excuse people used as a reason for Garrett’s failed offenses.

Sensible cowboy fans didn't want TO on the team

Definitely sailed high. You arent missing anything. With a better pass, that would have been a reception. But Dez was not wide open either.

Dak doesnt like throwing to guys that arent open. You can tell he just doesnt feel comfortable tossing the ball up for grabs. If you want to blame Dak for that, by all means go ahead. Personally, I cant blame him. Romo had no problem tossing the ball up and taking chances. Its why he had so many picks. Dak is a different bread. Not a gunslinger but a hell of a QB none the less. If you disagree then its your issue. Without Prescott where would this team be right now? Romo and his broken back have retired.

Can't believe we agree on a subject, just doesn't feel right:muttley:

The team is 8-6, having missed Zeke for 6 games and Lee for what like 5-6 games?

The team would be 10-4 right now if Zeke wasn’t suspended for BS and Lee wasn’t hurt for stretches of games.

If that was the case would this argument even be taking place right now?

Honestly.

Feels a guy??? Dude it's called pressure, which cause the pass to sail high, he had no follow thru, take off your Dak hater glasses.
