Gotta admit, at the very least you gotta love this guy's attitude. A lil' nasty intensity is never a bad trait as an offensive lineman.

Good move, kind of a no brainer.

Nothing but speculation on my end but if the Cowboys are looking to go get FA OL help possibly in the likes of Will Hernandez do they consider trading Hoffman? On one hand he is an ideal backup, super cheap contract, and is good enough to push for a starting role. On the other hand I would imagine that a stock rising guy playing on a $1.1m contract would bring a decent draft pick back. Would you flip him to get a 4th round pick back?

Hoffman had no choice.
