Broncos mad at Roy

Have any of the people who believe it was a cheap shot ever played football before?

I mean seriously, in about half a second you can't pull up, its impossible. And Roy was looking to WIN what the heck is wrong with that. Ok lets say Smith makes the catch and Roy lets up and all of sudden "holy crap Roy sucks and can't cover."

I just really can't understand ignorant people.

But thats just me.

"Ignorant" is a nicer word then I'd use. But if I used the word I really feel is the appropriate word, I'd be banned.

Adam's snapshots don't show enough. If anyone has any video of it. I would like to see it again. You guys obviously need to see it again.

I love hitting also and I enjoy watching Williams play but I do believe he's a dirty player. I put him in the same class with Romo without the drugs and Sean Taylor without the guns.

Considering you LOWERED Roy into a class with Romanowski and Taylor, I'd say it was a pretty "Ignorant" line.

No, no probs with opinions. Your own view of Roy discredits the ability to be "Impartial" though.

The funny thing is, most of the fans on the Broncos' official message board said it wasn't a late hit and wasn't a dirty play. I've seen more gripes about it from anti-Cowboys fans than from Broncos fans. The few Broncos fans who griped about it were shouted down on their own board.

Just a few of the comments from Broncos fans --

"He played Rod on that play, not the ball. His job is to knock the ball free providing over the top help. You can't ask him to pull up because this is the Pro Bowl. That's how injuries occur. I still didn't like the hit though!"

Now, if Roy is a dirty player, there should be a plethora of late hit, roughing the passer, unnecessary roughness, facemask, or personal fouls on him, right? Here are the penalties called on him according to the summaries there.

I remember that game. F'in BS calls. One of them was an OBVIOUS offensive PI on Shockey that they dumb refs decided to call on Roy instead.
