i'm all for signing him to a marc columbo like deal and just stashing him on IR for a year.
He shouldn't be eligible for IR if he is healthy which he claims.

Too bad he hasn't been suspended or had a run in with the law. He would be a Cowboy by now. Oh yeah, I went there...

Joe Jurevicius just became the sixth Browns player in 4 years to get a staph infection following surgery.

It never ceases to amaze me how many thousands of people die from staph infections when there is a cheap and simple preventive/cure available. The problem is it is cheap and simple and pharmaceutical companies do not want cheap and simple, they want something they can synthesize, get exclusive rights to and make a billion dollars on.

Crushed raw garlic kills staph on contact, including MRSA and what's more, staph cannot become immune to it like it has the other antibiotics. Those are facts. Washing down walls and other surfaces with crushed raw garlic in water kills staph and all other bacteria.

Staph infections can be treated successfully if they are on the surface or close to it but deep down infections like in the knee joint or other interior location are much harder to get to because direct contact is harder to make. There are many ways to use garlic to get its pharmacological properties besides just eating it.

I realize this is generally off-topic, even though it's germaine to this thread so I won't say anything more about it but if anyone is interested, PM me and I'll be happy to discuss it.

'bob is right.

I often smoke or snort garlic when I have to kill an infection. Works like a stinky charm.

has a player ever sued a club for staff infection?

Too much of that is passed around locker rooms

True, but the Browns kept him on the payroll so his suit would probably not be very successful.

The only reason for the physical was to make sure they cover themselves when they cut him so he couldn't claim injury.

I'd keep an eye on him and if he can't get a bigger deal to potentially start somewhere else I wouldn't be opposed, at all, to bringing him in to add depth at center and left guard. I'd be ok with that on a cheap deal.
