That is the end of that era and story.

Jerry, show your professional ethics and morales. You are better than what occurred in conflic a long time in the past...show us Cowboys fans you are one too. Not just an owner.

Jerry and Jimmy making amends, sincerely would heal a lot of wounds.

Jerry is sooooo arrogant and petty….dude, GTF over it and put him in….u will still be rich and still own the team. This childishness on Jerry’s part is pathetic as hell.
Looks like what you were complaining about is what we here received from you.

Jimmy yes. Haley no. Witten should have a separate ring called the Witten ring of honor because only Jason Witten’s hand beats a royal flush.

Now we are still trying to figure out why Jerry Jones hasn’t prioritized Johnson for such an honor considering the Triplets (Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, and Michael Irvin) are all in the ring of Honor. There is no time like the present, and Johnson undeniably deserves to be immortalized among the greats high above the field at AT&T Stadium. Jerry, it’s time to do right by Jimmy Johnson. End the drama.

If at the next ROH induction ceremony at AT&T it is not Jimmy Johnson there is likely be long, loud chants of "We want Jimmy." This thing is just getting bigger and getting worse for Jerry Jones as time goes by.

Staying center stage and in the news is Jerry’s main concern he craves attention, just who he is.
He didn't ask this question and stated those decisions are more spontaneous to activity current at the team.

I mean if you can't see why Jimmy isn't in you are blind or a Jerry homer.

Jerry is a petty, vindictive **** here who is so desperate for adulation and attention that he can't set aside his own pettiness to do what's right and, frankly, what most Cowboys fans would like to see. He's a selfish, jealous, petty little man and as someone said, it's going to be up to Stephen to decide if Jimmy goes in because Jerry will die before he allows it to happen.

It blows my mind that currently, the only Cowboys HOF member who is not in the ROH is Jimmy. Non-HOFers Don Perkins and Don Meredith are in…but not Jimmy. Perkins and Meredith belong for sure, but Jimmy being snubbed?

It’s not only embarrassing, it’s enlightening. Not being able to put his petty grudges aside make JJ look even smaller than his playoff accomplishments the last nearly 3 decades.
he isnt a real man, he is a manchild lol, so I dont expect him to ever honor jimmy.

Someone said that this is Embarrassing! If this is embarrassing to you then you really don’t have much going on. This is like literally the last thing that I think of every day, actually I don’t think of it at all. If anything put Barry in the ROH, he was much more entertaining! When you have an out of control employee who causes dissension and mutiny amongst the troops that employee usually does not get invited back for the company picnic. Let it go, you’ll feel better…

And Demarcus Ware should be going in this year. This year should be a celebration of Cowboys football.
The HOF should have one year solely dedicated to the Cowboys just to get caught up.

Even if they did catch up with the former Cowboy greats and enshrine them all, I would still hate them for taken so long and robbing these greats from what they are due.

Probably not while Jerrys alive.
It is not Jerry being alive. It is that Jerry wants to have a Super Bowl or at least a Super Bowl appearance before inducting Jimmy so that Jerry can say he has actually done something since Jimmy.

Jimmy has a gold jacket and respect as football guy. I am sure he is good with that, and could give two (fill in blank) about Jerry's ring of honor.

Jerry won’t do it unless we win a superbowl-if even then because Jerry world will never be louder than it would be for Jimmy getting in roh

I do think Jimmy should be in the Ring, but just for grins let's play devils advocate for a bit, shall we?

Looking at the players in the Ring of Honor, how many of them were on the team just a few years? The vast majority of them played for Dallas for 10 years or more. Charles Haley was on the team for 4 years only, but he was put on because if he wasn't, he would have beaten Jerry to a pulp (JUST KIDDING!) But Haley made an immediate impact, from 11-5 to a SB win his first year.
Only Landry and Schram and Brandt was non-players are in, and all were with the team for 29-30 years, oversaw the team from start to America's Team, many conference title games and league championship games.

Jimmy was only with Dallas for 5 years. And it's easy to say "his" team won another one, but the simple fact is he had been gone for 2 years before Dallas' last SB win, several key players left in that 2 years, the assistant coaches had a lot to do with the SB XXX win imho.
Jimmy won 2 SBs, same as Landry, but Landry went to 3 more, and the 1975 team got there largely due to Landry's coaching, with 12, count 'em, 12 rookies on the team just getting there was one heck of an accomplishment, losing to the Steelers, who won 4 SBs in 6 years meant they were an extremely good team, no shame in losing by 4 pts to them.

Just noting that there could be a case made that Jimmy doesn't deserve to be in the Ring, vs. others there.

And I would also note I'm not saying this is my view, just thought I'd throw out some thoughts. It IS the off-season, ya know!
Jimmy did more with the least time. He could've won 2 more SBs.
Landry hung around enough to land us in the playoffs before stinking up the place.
