I enjoyed the analysis.

It should be a great game since they will announcers and we will see Roy Williams switch to WR but still get defensive stats.

However the fun ends there.

Buehler will eat the cannons from the pirate ship and fart thunderbolts that will utterly destroy the tampa bay bucaneers on their own sidelines.

Ultimate Rueage awaits the bucs from the thundering explosions that will emanate from golden godlike cheeks of Buehler.

Are there still posters who believe Pittman is serious?

Pretty smart guy. He has his "projections" then he has a final score of 30-14. But if his projections were accurate, the score should be 56-7. Is this guy on medication? And I'm being DEAD serious. :laugh2:

I got a bigger chuckle out of the people that don't get Pittman4Two's angle than his actual post itself. He's been posting at other team's boards for years now. And no, his username has no reference to Kavika Pittman...it is Michael Pittman, former RB for the Bucs.

Good afternoon Cowboys fans, I've grown to enjoy your warm gratitude and intellect. Having said that, I think it's time to bring to the table a plentiful dish of truthfulness, a side of honesty, and a tall glass of knowledge.

The Buccaneers had this game circled on their calendar since before the whistle blew in the Raiders game last season. Rumors are that Gruden had drawn up games for this game during the Raiders game in order to get some things on tape for himself...or in this case future head coaches. Looking back, that's now a solid seven months of gameplanning, fine-tuning, scheming, preparing, researching, and scheming.

Bucs players largely took the pro bowl off in order to get as much preparation in as possible. Unfortunately, Dallas has had to deal with many-a-distraction since TO left. Is the stadium too big? Will the jumbotron interfere? Will Wade Phillips gain anymore weight? Is the Roy Williams switch to WR panning out? Can Romo handle his ewsurption as field goal snap holder? Will Marion Barber finally elude his brother's shadow? This is just a snippet of the questions that the football world will be asking about the Cowboys.

Add to that multitude of issues the fact that the Pewter Pirates are lying in wait, ready to fire those cannons, raise the battle flags, instill fear, etc.

Below is how my breakdown panned out.

The Tampa Bay Buccanneers (Super Bowl XXXIIIX Champs, NFC Southern Champs, Head Coach Raheem Morris) vs. cowboys

When? Sunday, 1pm

Where? Raymond James Stadium

Announcers? Yes

Weather? Partly cloudy with a chance of sun and rain.

Turf? The best natural turf in the world.

Summarization

When the Bucs have the ball...

One of, if not, the finest free agency pickups in the NFL League was the signing of Byron Leftwich. Few have been able to see this man in person and how much of a presence he gives when he is on the field. I'm sure many of you have not seen his prestine mechanics as a quarterback. He is one of the few where you can watch his wind up and follow through to really respect it. You can't coach these techniques and I apologize that your defense may have the best seat in the house to see it in motion.

Supporting Leftwich is a triage of running backs including the household names of Ward, Williams, and Graham...not to mention Clifton Smith (2008 Pro Bowler) and BJ Askew. The crying shame is there aren't enough footballs to go around.

When the Cowboys play defense...

Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick will have some issues this week with the pure talent, skill, and ability of Antonio Bryant, Michael Clayton, and perhaps the greatest TE ever to don a Bucs uniform, Kellen Winslow Jr. Wade Phillips must be having nightmares all night about this three-headed monster that Leftwich has at his controls.

With the Bucs winning the time of possession, it's always icing on the cake to have a kicker to depend on...and we finally have it with Mike Nugent. The man made several clutch kicks at Michigan and I look forward for him to translate that success into a pro bowl appearance in the pro bowl.

Projections

QB Leftwich - 23-28, 312 yards, 2 TD's, 0 INT
RB Williams - 11 rush, 83 yards, 1 TD
RB Ward - 13 rush, 108 yards, 2 TD
RB Graham - 18 rush, 72 yards, 1 TD
WR Clayton - 4 rec, 90 yards, 1 TD
WR Bryant - 8 rec, 111 yards, 2 TD
TE Winslow - 13 rec, 81 yards, 1 TD

QB Romo - 11-29, 119 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 0 picks
RB Jones - 23 rush, 68 yards, 0 TD
WR Williams - 4 rec. 42 yards, 3 tackles, 1 sack
TE Witten - 9 rec. 82 yards, 1 TD

Final Score

Buccaneers 30

Cowboys 14

Thoughts?
Well thought out, as usual, Pittman! Love the analyzation, as incorrect as it may be.;)

Truly amazing stuff and quite humorous! Thanks P42 for giving me multiple chuckles. I actually think you missed some opportunities with your analyzation:

1. Won't the light footed Byron Leftwich outrun Demarcus Ware (although we here all know Leftwich can not outrun the Buehler)?

2. Won't the Bucs OC Jaggedzinski come up with an awesome......oh wait....never mind.

Well I'm sure the Bucs are ready to start the season in fine fashion and all of the point spreads are highly favorable. I'd bet some money if I were you!

How could they have this date and game circled, when the schedule wasn't announced until April.

I stopped reading right there.

Those within the league family get this information before the general public does. Otherwise, how would a team prepare during the offseason?
