contrition leads to fruition in the nfl.He was saying back in February he was working on his reinstatement but I have heard of nothing coming to fruition afterwards.

I think he did just wanted to smoke moreThere's your issue. Not convinced he ever truly wanted it.
Chiefs blog mentions a Glazer mention here. I don't have an athletic subscription so I have no idea.He was saying back in February he was working on his reinstatement but I have heard of nothing coming to fruition afterwards.

David Irving is a chance worth taking for Kansas City Chiefs
The word on Irving’s interest in returning comes from Jay Glazer who stated in a recent mailbag column that Irving had already called him and could be the next Aldon Smith, another suspended player given a chance to return.
I am gonna get slammed for this. But if he decides he wanted to play football and go after a ring, I wonder if he is in shape and if MM and JJ would be interested in taking a look. I know a lot of you don’t like what he did. And I don’t care for the way he treated the whole situation.
That being said he would be a beast at McCoy’s position. But wasn’t he indefinitely suspended or suspended for 1 year, would he have time to ask for reinstatement. I don’t think that we will even consider him but man what a time it would be to have him playing.
Now with the rule change he would simply pay a fine..
The real answer is Nick Hayden
Didn’t say a solution. We will obviously roll with what we had. But a cheap deal like we used to get him for a 10 sack season. If he don’t show up then cut him and next man up. But D-Law, Poe, Irving and Smith would be a nice lineup. We are in trouble because we constantly rely on unreliable people and your solution is David Irvin. Any one else see the problem with this?
I view David as some one who is 100% guaranteed to let you down before the end of the regular season let alone as someone who will be there to help when things get tough. Would prefer the roster spot to be used on someone with a greater than zero chance of being available to help out when we really need some help.Didn’t say a solution. I doubt he will be available anyways. He is in the reinstatement process but don’t think goodell is going to call him back. Starting to wonder about Gregory. Trying to think if there is anyone else suspended for weed that has been let off the hook. Guess no one goes that far and fails 7 drug tests for it. He likes to smoke weed. He probably has enough money to get by for now and lives day to day in his mind.He can kick rocks. Last season he played he missed training camp because "uhh i'm having baby momma drama". He then gets an moderate injury and absolutely refused to show up to the facility for treatment when 1. He had enough time to heal and get back into the line-up before the season end and 2. The team was trending upwards and could of used him (he basically quit on the team). People harp about how he is a victim of failing for weed when 1. One of his failed test was for an actual legitmate performance enhancer and 2. Can't claim victim when you quit on the team
He is selling things so he is making money. I want to see if he gets busted with pounds of weed selling it. Wasn’t that Sam Hurd who got busted. And one of our old O-Line players to. He was on our SB team. Nate Newton..He likes to smoke weed. He probably has enough money to get by for now and lives day to day in his mind.
At least when we watch the documentary years from now we did get a chance to see that he could have been a great player and a multimillionaire first hand.
He will be very full of regret one day. Weed isnt harmless to everyone.

Love Irving. He said he could roll out of bed and play and he's right. When he's on the field he's a top 5 DT. Garrett spent so much time trying to coach and still can't coach to save his life. Some guys hat IT, some guys don't.I am gonna get slammed for this.
