Cam Newton Jerry is tanking next year

Is the question whether or not Jerry is tanking in 2025? Because I would answer yes to that question too. I don't know that it is so he can sign Arch Manning. That seems far-fetched. But everything Jerry has done so far in 2025 smells like another down season. Hiring Schottenheimer has got to be the biggest sign of a down year that I could imagine.

I think Jerry and Stephen really believe they are CAP strapped. I think they really believe that they can win it all with 4 or 5 high paid players and a bunch of cast offs. While I do not believe they are tanking on purpose, I do believe they are expecting another year of losing.

I think we will have our answer by the end of the free agency period.

Tune out what the Salesman Jones says ... And just watch what he DOES...

We don't have to "tank" next season or any other to get Arch Manning. All we have to do is make whichever team is in position to draft him a trade offer they can't refuse. We traded Herschel Walker to Minnesota along with a few other shrewd deals and draft picks and built a juggernaut. But, since we don't have a Jimmy Johnson to help Jerry pull off a mega trade 2.0, Jerry would have to hire (highly knowledgeable consultants), oh... let's call them 'special assistants to the GM' and pay them well to assist him in constructing a package (+ $$$$$$$) to acquire that pick.

Likely? Who knows. It's Jerryworld. But, not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

As for Nick Saban, Cam doesn't have enough Play-Doh to stretch that far.
