First of all, you said Portis was better than both of them combined, which is simply asinine. Combined, their yards from the first two NFL seasons easily outweigh Portis' first two seasons.

Second, Ladell Betts has averaged 37.89 rushing yards per game in his career. Caddy has rushed for 70.57 yards per game in his career.

1: Portis is wearing down at an early age and, if his ability doesnt decrease, it certainly won't improve

2: Both Brown and Cadillac will only get better

3: Betts is a good #2 back, nothing more

fair enough although Portis is only 25 and before this year had only missed 4 career games.

Betts has proven that he can easily be a #1 back especially on Dallas.
I mean he came in late and still had more rushing yards and TD's than your starting back in Jones did.

So I guess Jones is he one who should be considered a #2 back at best.
