Can Dak shine with new coach?

Don't know. But I do know if we stick with Dak he needs new coaches. This offense is not working out.

Can you please advise what a Coach can do when the TALENT isn't there?

dear fellow fanzone freaks--- jared Goff and to an extent Carson Wentz did not play well their first year

but when the got new coaching and players too for Wentz...they both are shining as good QB's...Do

you all think the same would be true with Dak if he got similar coaching change and maybe more

receivers or players?...Or is Dak who he is ...Dak?

Yes. I believe that finally having a real player development staff around him will do wonders for Dak.

Having Kellen Moore in one ear, Linehan in the other, and Garrett clapping his way into a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is doing absolutely nothing for Dak.

I don't know if he will shine, but if he gets a coach that calls plays to match Dak's talent, we will win more than we lose. Get a good TE in the draft and some more OL depth in the draft, again with better play calling, and we will be successful......even with Jerry meddling

This coach has sucked longer than when Dak was here. He sucked when Romo was here. The guy needs to go. Never going to win anything until that clown is gone. Dak is awful. Don't know if he can be salvaged but he's going to be here at least another year. Need a new coach to make an evaluation. Then we draft a franchise QB in 2020.

went played well his first year, you could see the talent and ability...Goff was playing in the wrong system....but watch Dak, Went and Dak.....the first two had the proper mechanics and ability to make accurate throws.....they had good foot work, you could see as things progressed they could read defenses and got better at it.....Wentz took a leap in his second year, it seemed inevitable....Goff benefited from a different coach and different system, but the coach also got a few new toys to play with......

Dak has the same flaws he had his first year....he has not progressed. he wouldn't necessarily benefit from a new system or new HC, but he needs a new QB coach to work on his fundamentals. if he doesn't fix his fundamentals.....no coach can help him

You can't take advantage of the one true ability he has, running. Because if he gets hurt, there is no one to back him up. This should be a pistol offense. That's why I said pick up RG3, because he could thrive here. Its a better offense than what he had in Washington his rookie year. Plus he'd be coming home(Baylor)

The coaches and QB are BOTH holding the team back. If you replaced either with something better, the other would automatically be elevated. But neither have what it takes to win the ultimate prize so the solution is to replace both.

No. Dak is not an accomplished passer at any lever like wentz or Goff. He does have other abilities that when things are perfect he can help the team win but how rare is that in the NFL? Guys like Romo and Brady that fell later in rounds still had much better arm talent coming out of college than what Dak could hope to develop. He can be a solid backup.

well this is the 300th thread on Dak the last 2 weeks and not new subject about coaching outfalls..so we all know the answer, he will have better chance with a new creative OC, QB coach and hopefully a new HC.. he sure cant get worse , up is the only way up from 29th and 25th for this offense and daks QB ranking..his first 1.5 yrs weren't bad, last 16 games have been mostly a train wreck..
