Can Luepke do more?

Little Alstott is a throwback....refreshing to watch. Many will turn on him if he drops a first down pass or fumbles the ball on short yardage. For now, I enjoy watching him and hope he can become a solid contributer.
He kinda reminds me of Walt Garrison, good at running, catching and blocking, but not flashy. He just seems like an all-around good player to have.

Take a poll in here about McCarthy getting fired. I think you will be surprised by the answer.

Because most in here probably do. He should have been fired after the GB game.
but you know how jerry is, look how long it took for him to fire your step cousin Jason Garrett, I feel like other smart organizations would have done what you're suggesting, but you know who we're dealing with.

He should. Hes a fullback.

That was one of my reasons that we didn’t need Zeke. Luepke does everything he does and more.
yeah but with us if we didn't have zeke (that competition factor) he'd be fumbling or lining up offsides or something crazy

MM is not prone to allowing younger players to play quickly, like it's on the job training.

He's somewhat less likely to do so than many HCs. Luepke is a good example of that.

Despite his being relatively young, his ability to handle other spots is almost excellent.

Luepke is underused, he should the primary 3rd down RB, FB, more as a RB and be used some at TE. Dude is a weapon imo.
Totally agree, I'd increase his game time till he shows he's not ready for it. Till then, I think he IS ready for it. I think he's more ready and more useful than Zeke! C'Mon MM wake up!

I saw him get a nice blitz pickup this past game
I think there's no doubt he should get more snaps till he shows he can't handle it! To me, it's ridiculous the way we're playing musical chairs with all these RBs in the stable. Zeke shouldn't even be in the mix, along with Vaughn.

You do not know that is a fact. All teams were waiting for those rosters to shake out at that time. Fact.

I do know it. Everybody who isn’t a blind homer clinging onto the memory of what Zeke was years ago knows he isn’t any good anymore.

He seems very solid and productive...blocking catching running. Can he get a bigger role...or is he a bit player?
He is definitely growing into the role. I think people went overboard in denigrating him because of his goal line fumble last year. He has great hands and good speed and is a powerful runner with a knack for finding creases. As the coaches trust him more his role will expand I think.

Not a particularly good blocker, but that was never his strength. With a weak group of HB's, he should have a bigger role as a runner and outlet reciever on play action
