Can this team win a potential round 3 against Philly?

I doubt it. They are talented and their coaches are so much smarter. They will come up with something that takes Dallas three quarters to adjust to.
If I’m honest with myself, if everyone’s healthy in Philly in the playoffs the Eagles win by double digits.

The real question is can this team make it to a third round playoff game? The Cowboys haven’t won a second round playoff game since the 1995 season.

If both the Eagles and Cowboys play well, the Eagles will probably win because they’re a better team. That doesn’t mean that we don’t have a chance… Anything can happen. I mean in the Eagles Super Bowl, I think the patriots probably win that game 6 or 7 out of 10 times…
The Eagles have a big issue at right tackle with the injury to Lane Johnson and they have an issue with Hurts being hurt. The Cowboys might be better going into the playoffs. They are forcing the Eagles to play their starters next week and they are going to get more guys hurt.

Yeah health is always a wildcard. I am expecting though that the Eagles will rest are starters week 18, and by the time the divisional round rolls bye Hurts Maddox and Johnson will probably be healthy..

I think that the Saints/Eagles game could go either way. Especially, if the weather is bad. If Eagles lose they will be forced to play starters in last game.

I’m really not sure how you can think that? One of the worst teams in the NFC on the road to play the best team in the NFC… And it could go either way?

Dallas can hang 40 on anyone in the NFL. Question is can the defense hold the opponent to 39???? Defense is a big concern going down the stretch. Post season is around the corner and the coaches have to figure out how to get the D back to early season form….

As excited as we are all about that win yesterday, that game was largely irrelevant because we arent going to win the division and Philly will clinch everything with a win against the Saints next week.

Hurts didnt play and the defense still gave up 27 points and was getting torched through the air. Unfortunately, we dont have any reinforcements coming to help our passing defense.

The solace we can take from that game was they came into that game mostly healthy on defense, and they couldnt do a thing to stop our own passing attack.

If we are going to get to where we want to go, we have to be able to beat this team, and most likely it will be in the Divisional Round. After what you saw on that football field, do you honestly believe we can beat that team in Philly with Jalen Hurts back or will this win be the highlight of our season?
4 T/O and their starting QB were out along with 2 of their def starters injured in the 1st Q of the game and we barely beat them.
If we meet Philly or the Niners in the playoffs we will once again be embarrassed on the national stage.:(
It is what it is......

Depends what defense shows up. If we have to score every drive, then no.

Sure we can beat them in Philly.
If
I think our OL will eventually gel. We knew it would take time for Tyron to get used to playing RT. TY Hilton will get more time the next two games. He will make a difference with our WR group.

Defense is another story. We've struggled for a while there. Our depth along the secondary is getting a baptism by fire. Bland is getting better. If we can begin to get our replacements up to speed....they may improve. I am less than optimistic along the DL. We've been weak stopping the run for the better part of three years. Getting Hankins back healthy will help, but it won't solve all our problems there. The pass rush is slowly getting less impactful. Micah is worn down now. Teams are constantly doubling him (and he isn't getting any holding calls).

We can beat Philly again. I have no doubt. But I also think it will be a very tough accomplishment. I think the odds are in Philly's favor. They are better on the OL, WR, and DL. Much better. But you never know.....

Well, since I thought there was no way the Cowboys would win this last game and that the eagles would smoke the Boyz and it turned out wrong, I'm going to say that, yes, the Cowboys will beat the eagles in their house. I saw a couple of eagles get hurt in this last game so they know that this team is no push over. I hope I'm not wrong again.

It is highly unlikely that everyone is healthy for Philly. It very well could turn out that the Cowboys had better depth than them after all.

I think this team can beat any team in the NFL on a given day.

The question in the playoffs is always the same: can a team string together 3-4 wins in a row vs top teams?

The defense has sagged some lately, but they still pretty much handed us 24 of our 40 points yesterday with those 4 turnovers.

Look at what Lane Johnson means to them. So far they have scored 0 points without him and their backup was totally over matched. They have some problems going into the Saints game and the Saints are playing for a chance of getting into the playoffs. Can you tell me how the Eagles will play with their qb situation and a bad right tackle? And other players dropping like flies.

Any Given Sunday. That’s what gives me hope.

Objectively Philadelphia has a better team than Dallas. The biggest edge Philadelphia has over us is their line play on both sides of the ball. This was very evident by pressure by Eagles DL and how their OL neutralized our pass rush. The trenches dictate who wins in Dec/Jan.

If we are going to win we will need a great game by Dak and our D.

we can’t even manage the clock correctly. Almost cost us another game.

See Philly right tackle. Things could be changing in that area.

Is Jalen Hurts a good cold weather QB?

His splits say he has a pretty significant drop off in cold weather this year.
