He wasn’t released he was traded for a fifth round pick. It was a dumb move, and it’s part of the reason for Dak’s inconsistent, up and down play. No receiver we had could get open like Amari Cooper. He’s one of the best route runners in the entire league. He also freed up other receivers. Without him it’s led to a lot of contested balls that got picked.

People act like Amari Cooper never shrank in big games. He would not have been the gamechanger last weekend and I'm sure of that.

The 1 road playoff game he played in for the Cowboys where he had 6 for 65 and a TD?

Or how about his last 2 years as a Cowboy where he had 91 catches for 987 yards and 6 TD’s on the road in 16 games?

It seems like your false narrative is easily debunked by a simple google search. Who woulda thought?

Cooper was a necessary salary cap dump. He was good, but grossly overpaid. Him not being here is not why we lost to SF.

It didn't help us this season and there's prrof it hindered out season. Lamb turned out to be a legit no. 1 WR after Prescott came back from injury but it took Lamb a few weeks to get going.
Gallup, for whatever reasons you want to include, just was not productive. We had no no. 2 WR. Other than Lamb, there's been no real playmaker threat on offense consistently. There's not even a remotely close 2nd.
We need more weapons.

It clearly helped. There's not one culprit. There's not one reason. You cannot expect any team in the NFL to be successful vs. solid teams in the playoffs with one WR worth a damn. And with regard to receiving production, that includes all the WRs and TEs.

They lose dak week one, they keep winning. The lack of talent kept it going.

They lose Steele so what tyrons back, good to go.

Gallup misses the first part of the yr ok, Noah come fill in.

Lawrence gets hurt ok, micah spot him. Sam Williams come in here for 6.5 sacks, and Armstrong gonna need you to give me like 8.5

Vander esch hurt, Clark when know ur coming back from injury but fill this spot, ok.

Lewis and brown out for the yr. Hey rook come her, muku need you too.

Kearse you hurt Wilson got you. Wilson you hurt ok hooker got you.

Our Wrs, TEs and RBs were hot garbage in terms of receiving. Still talented?

If we’re talking about “grossly overpaid”, the list is long:

Dak
Zeke
Schultz
Gallup

Cooper came much closer to earning his money than they did.

His ‘sin’ was not having the guaranteed money the others had. That allowed poor cap managers to trade him.
