Adam would be the man to know for sure but I think the "Add 1 only if you Lose 1" doesn't apply to cut players.

And cutting a player doesn't open a slot to add.

If we picked up Rolle then Dallas could decide to trade up to get McClain and then maybe take their Offensive Tackle in the 2nd.

This is the deepest Safety draft class i've seen in awhile so if he wants a huge pay day I think I would just go with youth and bring in a rookie and coach them up.

I agree, you never know! I'm really liking the idea of signing Rolle (a proven ball hawk) and getting a future stud MLB in either Spikes or McClain (long shot but hey) in the 1st round. I think LT in the 2nd round would be a great idea as well.

I guess it just depends who you think is gonna make more plays, Allen or Rolle. If ya go with the young guy you've got the position taken care of for 10 years instead of five.

Rolle is a little bit of a gambler in that, as a former CB, he will give up some big plays from time to time, but then he'll come back and make big plays back. He has that old UM swagger that's annoying when you play against, but like when it plays for you.

Since both safety positions in Wade's D are interchangeable, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back Sensabaugh. Of course, that would mean cutting ties with Ken Hamlin, which should be done anyways, and also give more time to Mike Hamlin, as well as pick up another one in the draft.

I would expect Ken Hamlin to possibly be released, but I'm not certain we'll bring in Antrel Rolle. Obviously, Arizona is looking to draft a playmaking safety early in April.

Released players can sign with anybody at any price. You dont have to lose a player to gain a released player.

They are fair game.

our defense for the most part will be set.

We have youth and linebacker, so we really don't need to draft there...

And we're still waiting on hatcher and bowen to really step up, but they should be at the very least suitable backups.

All we would need on defense if we got Rolle, would be another defensive tackle.

Ryan Pickett maybe, if things work out in our favor there.

We could really focus the draft on offense, which we haven't done in a while.

Imagine an all offense draft... (maybe not to that extreme, but still).

I somewhat disagree with that statement. If Spikes is there at 27 I would easily take him. This might be Brooking last year and Spikes could come in polished to take over.

I hope you're right, but the Cowboys are a superbowl contender and I don't think they'll feel confortable starting an inexperienced guy there. I'd bring back Sensabaugh for a 1 year deal ( and if not him, then somebody like him ) and slowly work in M.H. the way Woody was slowly worked in when James Washington and Thomas Everett were the starters.

Correct. Still a misunderstood concept. He will not be a UFA. That means his contract ran out. This means he is free for anyone.
