:laugh:Thanks, but I've tried and failed too many times.

My problem is that I don't objectify them as a bunch of football players. When they lose I feel worse for them than I do for myself. They are putting their bodies on the line; they are getting embarrassed on broadcast media (and I am embarrassed for them); they have to stand in front of the media and explain why they suck after its all over; they have to play the remaining 3 games (we don't have to watch); they have to listen to people pontificate on how bad they are.

Take people like Sean Lee. This guy loves the game. Just imagine what he's gone through to get himself back from season ending injuries multiple times and these are the results. Guys like he, Witt and Tony have but some many chances.

I''m loyal. If I support you I've got your back. If you're wrong, I can say you're wrong without degrading you because that means I never supported you from the beginning.

Preach on, sis.

That's because you're mentally, developmentally, psychologically and socially mature. A lot of people around here are still stunted in their overall growth.

Head coach Jason Garrett said the decision was "performance related." A source said the Cowboys are in search of someone more physical to play the position.

There was no behavioral issue behind the release, the source insisted. The club simply made the determination that Patmon was struggling in the nickel and in special teams because he wasn't physical enough. The source said the team intends to bring up cornerback Terrance Mitchell, a seventh-round pick by Dallas in the 2014 draft, from the practice squad to replace Patmon.

"He's been a good player for us," Garrett said of Patmon. "He has a chance to be a good player in this league. We just felt like it was the best move for our team right now."

Patmon had 15 tackles in 2015 with six passes defended. Only two players -- Byron Jones and Morris Claiborne -- have knocked away more passes for the Cowboys. He has appeared in 11 games this season, giving him 22 for his two-year NFL career, all with Dallas...

Took 11 games to realize he was not physical enough?

The standards for next season are coming into the picture for the Cowboys, right now. First up, team attitude and level of professionalism around the team. There is a policy in effect, that does not allow for individual sensationalism, without strong discipline now. Also, no time in grade players are accountable on a professional level, for appearance and with this, play.

Next, a whole group in the secondary, are without indicators of dominance...that is now under the mircroscope, and will affect future evaluations much stronger than to this point.

I assume he was predicting a high throw from Cassell like every other one he threw

Yeah but it's a lot more fun and easier for people to bash on Dez.

Everyone knows Cassel sucks so they'd rather bash Dez now. It's really nothing more than people who didn't really like him to begin with now getting some reasons to come out and bash on him.

You could see this coming from a mile away. All we're missing is Romo to Austin coming back in here and talking about how he said all along that Dez shouldn't have been drafted to complete this circle.

Folks would rather make jokes about a perception of Garrett cutting people for dress code on a flight....a couple years after many of the same ragged on Dez for wearing baggy pants in a mall and saying that he should be ashamed and/or disciplined (or worse). In the same vine, if it was an old man like Parcells demanding the same as JG, it would be right.

Accountability is stressed in so many ways...but when we cut someone, it was either a mistake by our management or the guy's massive talents were run into the ground somehow by our coaches blanketing them with horrendous advice. There is a reverential tone about Jimmy's accountability, respect, and fear he instilled. Go back and read about him getting drunk on the plane and threatening to cut guys, red-faced yelling in people's faces. I, for one, am strangely okay with that. But can you imagine if it happened today in the twitter world? Eh, we all wish for those days. I digress.

Discussions are cool - assuming the worst about a group of people (coaches, players) who I guarantee you care WAY more about the functioning of this team than any one person on this board is wackadoo. Unless you have a huge cowboys tattoo on your chest while sitting in a blue star wallpapered room on a couch shaped like one of the 90's offensive lineman. Then I'm cool with you, and please don't beat me up.

Excellent points.

Seems like they are planning to move Jones to CB full time which makes no sense to me, also if this cut is performance related then it also doesnt make sense, Patmon is a better CB than Church and Wilcox are Safeties.

My mom is better than Patmon

Special teams, apparently.

So he can commit penalties while playing on special teams and keep his job? He can fumble when he actually does make a reception?

But Patmon gets the boot for similar or less "performance" issues?

I have no ******* idea what he was doing there and neither did anyone else.

My favorite was him jawing with the Panthers rookie cb as one of their defenders was returning a int for a touchdown. That happens in peewee fooball.

He's always jawing, even if the Cowboys are getting embarrassed.. He's mentally an idiot... Must be surrounded by a bunch of scrubs who constantly feed his ego..

It still amazes me that people do bash on him. Not like the guy hasnt led the league in TDs before, or is an athletic freak. It just seems they forget the fact hes dealing with multiple injuries, playing in an antique system, with no other passing threat on the team, and no QB. Lets just forget the absolutely horrible conditions and the QB who is throwing the ball to him in GB.

Performance related? Did they notice that the offense only scored 7 points? The scapegoats to prove a point are starting to run very low.

Apparently, your the only one that caught this point...

The only churning roster is the defense, yet it's the offense that blows chunks. I guess their mad the defense didn't hold Lacy in check with regards to those big runs, despite the fact the offense kept handing the ball back to GB.

11 first downs by this offense and lost the TOP by 15 minutes..

Of course Jerry's excuse is that Cassell hasn't gotten a full training camp... Maybe throw in a few injuries, despite the fact that GB is decimated by injuries too.
