I thought he was inthe 8-14 range anyway, so cant complain.

IF he plays at a top 25% level, we should do well.

You always come with this "Dak had no weapons". Then how did the team manage to win 12 games this past season? If someone says something bad about Dak, the other side of you mouth you come with, hey, he won 12 games two years in a row.

Then the other side of your mouth when Dak screws up in the playoffs because he is mental, well, "Dak had no weapons". How did he get to the playoffs without any weapons? When the team wins, Dak has weapons enough to win 12 games but when he fails in big games, he has no weapons. The excuses you give him are totally insane.

Just like the many in here, they failed to mention Dak had no weapons last year, plus an oft-injured Oline. Heck, Aaron Rodgers faired worse for the same reasons, yet they have him ranked higher? It's all personal bias rankings. So obvious.

I think this is spot on. The QB raking list is pretty fluid, and really Dak anywhere in the #7 to #15 range I don't argue with too much. When he is on the guy can flash as a top 5 QB, but we also see the occasional dud where he looks to be a fringe starter. I'd rather see these rankings done more so by tier because all these guys in the middle of the pack are separated by the smallest of margins.

Herbert has played better than just about any QB in the league but just lacked the players around him. It sort of emphasizes why wins are a team stat and not an individual stat.

I think the guy has had plenty of talent around him. Mike williams,Keenan allen,Guyton.eckler all stack up pretty well against our roster. The Chargers just have crapped the bed like the cowboys. I think everyones golden boy is not as golden as everyone thinks so well see how hedoes this year with Kellen Moore.

The article ranks the players as starters. Anybody think Richardson will be the starter over Minshew? From Richardson's NFL draft profile: Dual-threat quarterback with an elite physical profile and a lot of work that needs to be done. And:

What, Herbert since he came into the league 3 years ago?

Those were just a couple things he did in his three short years, and he put up those numbers with his primary targets missing 23 games and playing hobbled in several others. Also, as long as the Spanos clan is running that organization, and Staley is slapping a governor on the offense while flipping a coin to determine if the team should go for it regardless of the situation, the prognosis for winning is not the best.

Compare the first 3 years of Herbert's NFL career vs. Josh Allen’s most recent 3 years and Herbert has a higher completion percentage, more passing yards, he’s behind on TD’s (crushes Allen’s first 3-year total), has less picks, and is 2% behind in QBR but with a higher career average. There’s a reason good QB’s aren’t racing to play for that organization. They won't build it to win in the long haul and Herbert would be best served getting out after his rookie contract but he won't.

BTW, Stafford’s where he should be @ 18. Guy made it to the Superbowl with a roster that sold it’s soul for a championship and still more-than-likely wouldn’t have made it there if Jaquiski Tartt would have fielded Stafford’s 4th quarter punt pass that prompted Troy Aikman to comment on recent desperation throws by Matt Stafford. Stafford’s fairly washed.

He had a defensive coach and the defense was not great. When you lose in the playoffs 31-30 and you had no turnovers you have done your job (especially when the run game for them was horrid that game). Herbert completes the ball at any range, does not make turnovers, especially in big moments, and when you watch him, there is no point where you do not see elite high end talent. There is literally nothing you could ask him to do because he is out there looking like Mahomes but without Reid.
