You know Purdy didn't slip on a banana peel and injure himself. Neither did his replacement. One other point, Purdy doesn't play defense either.
Purdy got hurt on a routine hit. Kind of like Dak breaking his hand earlier in the season. Freak accident.

They couldn't throw the ball.....at all....for over half the game.

Awe...another upset because I refuse to sit and kiss the Eagles butt....

Perhaps it is time to go ahead and follow them since they can do no wrong and we can't do anything g right?
Perhaps.

Yea, that throwing the ball thing coincides with knocking their 2 QBs out of the game. Funny how that works isn't it.

How about the Rams this year? They were still "active" and lost a key FA as well.-Lost one of the best receivers in the NFL and were injury ridden all year. It happens. You are funny though considering. They did WIN a SB last year. Where were the Cowboys?

How about the Bills? It didn't work out so hot for them overpaying said 33 year old DE. They even have an "Elite" qb...-Were in the AFC Championship game last season and decided to go for it. That is how it is SUPPOSED to happen. You think Buffalo wont be good next year? Think again.

Denver? What, we don't want to talk about them?-They traded for Russ. Then traded away everything. Bad take

Miami? Active as anyone....fell far short.-Tua was on fire before his concussions. They went toe to toe with a 3rd string QB against a very good defense. Bad take yet again.

Bengals- Totally redid their OL in FA, you all were crowing how they would dominate. Fell short.-Back to back AFCCG is falling short for you? To bad it isnt for Jerry.

Raiders- Devante and Chandler Jones....lol-Dumpster fire of a franchise.

Chargers- JC Jackson, Khalil Mack...OMGZ....consensus offseason champ. LOL. Probably the only one you said that makes sense.

You guys are so typical....just focus your ire on the one unicorn that works out and then compare Dallas to it relentlessly. What about all the others? This is what I am saying that this approach is not sound and is not how you build a sustainably good football team.
So you think Jerry knows how to build in a sound way?

Where are the NFCCG appearances? Where are the SB appearances?

You like winning in only the regular season? You sure you don't work for the Cowboys?

Why didnt you bring up Kansas City? Or San Fran? Curious.

Maybe its because San Fran was having a horrible season. Made a GREAT TRADE and wound up in the NFCCG with a 3rd string QB.

Keep stacking those regular season wins.

Even your hero Jerry knows and has admitted he didnt do what was needed when Romo was here to get to a SB. Get a grip on reality. It is ok to praise other teams for doing things that got them to the championship and criticise our ownership and FO who havent done it in 28 years.

Statistically speaking. We should have lucked into one by now.

It is OK to praise other teams. Maybe you missed all of my posts on how the 49ers should be praised for how they built their team? They built it the right way, it just has resulted in a victory yet.

Eagles get lucky as hell......and we have to kiss their feet or be called a homer.

Ridiculous.

Its not kissing their feet to appreciate that they have rebuilt. Twice. In 23 years less than it has taken us to rebuild since 1995. lol. Wake up man.

Did the Niners draft CMC? Or trade for him? Thats how you build a team. Not relying COMPLETELY on the draft and signing a bunch of guys to vet min contracts.

Ya it was a great move to trade for CMC. I would have loved to make the same trade but we were buoyed to Zeke.....

We traded for Hankins who helped our biggest need..stopping the run and we tried to add wrs and trade for them. OBJ didn't work out and they tried tradi g for the Texans wr but couldn't get the contract redone.

Ended up adding TY.

They tried but didn't do enough before the season.

Nope...that is the reality.

They had cakewalks to get to the super bowl while we have to beat the best of the best or eventual super bowl champs.
I know you aren't talking this year? Tom Brady was a shell of his former self and the same SF team that the Eagles smashed.

I would take a trip to the SB every five years and suffer in-between. I also don't think we can guarantee any amount of wins. Our roster will have some issues this offseason too. No where near the Eagles, but I don't think we are a shoe in for 12 win season, but I hope I am wrong.
I expected us to fall back after last year. Next year is more likely. This team has always been very inconsistent..

No, it's not always smoke. They tend to be more honest than most when it comes to FA, roster building. What Jerry and Stephen have said this last week pretty much jive with what they have done previous offseasons. They aren't running a smoke screen here. They are pretty much warning/telling the fans that they will once again do jack squat in FA, that what they have is a SB contending team and their improvement will come from the draft.

If people are sitting there, like yourself and TheMarathonContinues, thinking that they are lying and that this is the year they finally bring in a legit stud or two in FA/trade like a big time DT or WR, woo boy, someone is ignoring history here. But man, I hope you guys are right.
This^^^

It’s amazing how honest and forthcoming they are. No other franchise front office divulge their strategies openly in public like Jethro and Son.

Fans really need to pay attention closer as it will help explain why we are where we are.

Is actually unbelievable. But they openly respond to the public criticism and outcry as they feel it helps hype their product , offers scapegoats while keeping them and their iconic label front and center.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a more bizarre professional sports organization. Reminds me of something like boxing promoter Don King or McMahon in wresting .

And why we really can’t take our beloved football franchise too seriously anymore. It’s pure entertainment value now. Sports Entertainment at the highest level. Damn shame.
