I responded with FACTS.And your take is never worth a bucket of warm spit
dolt:
IDK, man, 133 teams in DIV 1. It would seem more practical to have 24 out of that number.I mean the practical sweetspot
TV is all about the $$$$$
They’d grow it even beyond 24 if they could get agreement
I'm baffled the SEC has an issue with it. They have almost the entire month of December off and the SEC title game doesn't need to happen anymore since they got rid of the divisions.IDK, man, 133 teams in DIV 1. It would seem more practical to have 24 out of that number.
Looking at this year alone, how many playoff teams didn't win their conference champ games? How many didn't even make it? Mia, for one.I'm baffled the SEC has an issue with it. sports ladies?? LOL.Do you grasp the very basic concept that Oregon had the same ticket allotment? Probbably not since you are resorting to quoting sports ladies. lol
Back to the basement, dbag
Because you are clueless and do not pay attention. I already explained it.I'm baffled the SEC has an issue with it. They have almost the entire month of December off and the SEC title game doesn't need to happen anymore since they got rid of the divisions.
Season results are what is importantTAMU was not the best.
Miami hasn't won a title yet.
Oregon lost 2 regular season games in 2 years. Notre Dame lost 2 regular season games in 2 weeks.
If you want to play Oregon, then schedule them. But they were far more impressive as a 1 loss Big 10 team than ND was as a 2-loss independent absent ANY final top 20 wins.
I will easily grant you that Notre Dame was probably better than their body of work but that is all we have to judge teams on. and ND opted out of the Pop Tarts Bowl versus BYU which would have told us a lot.
Your body of work determines your ranking.
What's clear is that your angst should be directed at Fox and ESPN for refusing to get to 16 teams last year. Not with teams who had better resumes.
Oh whatever dude. I was at the "actual game". But you didn't have to be to see that the crowd was almost all IU. She said nothing about the poor Oregon turnout so I'm not sure how that supports anything you have said.sports ladies?? LOL.
You mean a credentialed reporter who at the actual game?
the stink of jethro is a bit too strong on you.
Why the heck should I "pay attention" to or give any credence to any of your theories? You're just some redneck on a chat board with no inside information. This particular theory makes no sense. More games means more revenue. So, if ESPN doesn't want it, it's got nothing to do with their ability to afford it.Because you are clueless and do not pay attention. I already explained it.
The SEC has an issue with it because ESPN doesn't want it.
ESPN has and wants to retain sole right to the CFP and cannot afford more games.
They already offload the games with NFL time slots to TNT at a loss.
The only benefit to CC games were if they were the sole determination for byes for the P4 conferences.Looking at this year alone, how many playoff teams didn't win their conference champ games? How many didn't even make it? Mia, for one.
The conference champ games are completely meaningless. If they're not going to help determine playoffs, why have them? Replace them w/ playoff games, it's just that simple.
As I mentioned would happen:
The next foot to drop is the case playing out now with the Ole Miss QB suing the NCAA for eligibility. Why should the NCAA deny eligibility to anyone as long as they are taking classes at the school? 4, 5, 6 years...... the eligibility rules are arbitrary which is exactly the sort of rules courts have been striking down. I think we are headed toward career college athletes.Crazy how colleges are now almost competitive with NFL on keeping a guy in school.
