The neg. stigma of older players here in this thread is flailing. The league has black balled the 40 year old Vet, many a contending team used to be loaded with these guys before the new agreement.
Yeah, for a 1-2 year stop gate til the young players are ready shouldn't be a problem at all, will give the youngsters time to develop and gain confidence and experience. A vet should be begged for here, after all we are begging for them at other positions and there isn't a position on this team that needs more veteran experience at the moment than safety.

I'd def like to hear some reasoning from the group who feels Woodson has nothing left in the tank. Makes no sense based on his play.
He had the injury last year, but the year before that, had like 70 tackles, 2 sacks, 7 INT's, 15-20 PD's.
I don't understand why we wouldn't make a play for him, even Stephen said the importance of the position pre-draft, and then he takes a small school project who definitely isn't ready to play. Based on that comment from Stephen alone, I can see a vet safety added before any other position on this team at the moment.
Its bout time some of the people here start paying the position the attention it deserves, cause they will definitely notice those long TDs against us on Sundays without the attention to the position.
