Chido sucks

as much as I would like to see jones resigned there is only so much cap space to go around. I know chido is not up to jones standards but he may have to step up and be the number one corner like or not. hopefully he gets better this season. a pass rush and a better safety play beside him would help him more.

Good player, isn't a huge difference maker and can get beat by just great catches.

Hes still young in terms of games played

Byron is considered better because not many passes are thrown his way. When they are, he is just as vulnerable as Chido. The Dallas DB and Safety motto, "Give them the catch; make the tackle."

cheeto has horrible techniques...., and he has ..and will always have issues turning his head around to make a play on the ball,

..it doesn't matter even if he is in close position, so long as he does not turn his head - it's either gonna be a play for the opposing WR,
- or the official will call pass interference for not turning to make a play while crawling all over a WR.

i continue to wonder if this is the wrong scheme for him, he maybe more of a Cover 2 guy that works best when he can keep a WR in front of him with a off-line cushion, or zone.

i was stunned that Skins' Jay Gruden to game plan to have some deep shots thrown at Cheeto. ..and the better teams will go after him since he is still showing
problems making adjustments to the bump n run press.

overall though he will throw his body around vs run , i think he's serviceable at best, and we need an upgrade over him.
he's another weak link in the secondary, imo.

I don't think he sucks. He had a bad game and were getting no pass rush when he was getting worked. Looked better in the second half because the DLine started playing better. My problem with our secondary is they have terrible ball instincts. No ballhawks....that DOES suck.

He got abused the entire game by a guy who went undrafted!
There were 3 plays that were a problem.

Two with veteran WR Parker and one with the 6-5 rookie WR Williams.

1 play the ball arrived 6 seconds after the snap.

1 play was a no catch but was a penalty. The penalty was lame on that one.

1 was a catch & penalty. Awuzie touched the ball first but it hitting his hand slowed it down and the WR made a wow 1 hand catch. They called the penalty on Awuzie but the WR had extended his arm behind him to push off which is how Awuzie ended up "interfering" with his arm.

Basically Parker is a good actor. He appeared to be playing those long passes with the intent to draw a penalty.

The Dolphins threw those long passes because Awuzie was covering the WR on the side of the formation with only 1 WR. The Cowboys were cheating the single high FS over to the side with 2 WRs. It is also the side (QB's right) where most QBs prefer to throw long sideline passes.

That means Awuzie was playing press with no true deep help or any type of help.

If the Cowboys were concerned they would have played Awuzie in off coverage or would have used a different coverage altogether.

Chido and Byron are the most over-rated starting corner tandem in the NFL. Here comes Michael Thomas to prove my point.

I like Chido. He always seems to be close to the receiver and the receiver makes a hell of a play. Chido is fine in my eyes. Just some bad breaks.
