I can definitely see your point of view, and your willingness to defend Hardy. The thing I wanted to see last year from him, is some sort of contrition. You know, be seen, not heard, Hardy may have not of done anything, but there is a code of conduct he should of followed.

Agreed. This could have been his last chance in the NFL and he chose to conduct himself in a less-than-professional manner.

Futhermore, aside from the Patriots game he simply wasn't very good.

Thats true. I think had he produced like an all pro this season maybe the hate wouldn't be there as much. Would like him back on another 1 year prove it deal to see how it goes. Too many holes to fill in one offseason

That tells me two things. He's not signing with the Patriots today, and that the Cowboys must be OK with his current asking price.

I think he's a lesser pass rusher than Hardy, but a better person and likely a much better locker room guy.

I'd still re-sign Hardy, but that looks less and less likely to happen.

They might not even know what he wants. He has had three visits. Carroll was the same way. Just be cause he is visiting, it does not mean anything is imminent.

I hope we can sign him to a short term deal. Can't hurt to add another body to the line because considering how bad we are
