Lining up in that spot doesn't qualify as backing up. He's a JAG.

I don't necessarily disagree with you...but if everyone is in favor of dumping an O-lineman to clear a roster spot, Holland should be the one sent packing.

You named 4 guys in the entire 10 or 12 yr. history of the franchise, and you named guys who were free agents... key word in my original remark is CUT! ...meaning, let go or waived, not guys who played out contracts and moved on!

but spin like you want...

McAlister will be great!

Your kidding with those names right? None of them even close to McCalisters pedigree.

Peter Boulware was pretty solid. I have to say, for the most part, Ozzie Newsome knows what he is doing when it comes to cutting players.

Im not sure what you are looking for... are you saying the Ravens dont know talent or are you saying they missed one when it comes to McAlister? take a stand!

Pedigree aside, he is a player who is currently (key word) on the same level as Deion, Carnell Lake and James Trapp when they were cut by the Ravens.

Much like Pac man, Im sure he will regain his Pro Bowl form, under Dave Campo!

I dont understand people's obsession with a 32 yr old CB who's coming off back to back seasons of season ending injuries. Didnt this guy tear his knee up last October?

I like the term "FNS". Familiar Name Syndrome.

I believe I heard that term here on first on this message board.

"HEY! I heard of HIM! He must be GOOD!"

That sounds similar to another disease that afflicts so many in CZ, the dreaded "big name-itis"

Chill...Chris is 1 of my Favorite CB's...but truth is, he is done, obviously a team got desperate and is willing to say what the heck with him

this is the NFL, if Chris still had it, teams would have been all over it

Now by looking at this thread i can tell most of you don't watch football outside Dallas, you just watch espn, even before Chris's injury he was declining, he got beat often, not too mention got burnt badly by a TE 2 seasons ago

he still is 1 of my favorite Corners, and i hope he comes and proves me wrong, with whatever team he signs with, but from what i saw the past 2 seasons, and now with a Knee injury, i just don't know
