By saying the 15th means nothing. This reporter sucks on this one. Week 1 is not over until after the games on the 14th. So by saying the 15th still leaves it open to all teams.

That's what I thought to. If the week ended immediately after your game, it would give certain teams a signing advantage. The way I understand it, the week starts on Tuesday for ALL teams.

Bart Scott is done?

Jamal Lewis was done?

Edwin Mulitalo was done?

There's no magic formula. All teams get rid of players near the end of their careers and are right, and all teams do it and the player still has something left.

Who did Terry Glenn sign with after we 86ed him?

When you speak in absolutes, you are usually speaking absolute nonsense. The Ravens do a good job, but they are not infallible.

nothing is absolute about my statement... chances r he is done, because the Ravens have a great front office, chances being the key word here.

not sure what TG has to do with the Boys signing Mcalister unless u r saying the Boys have a simular track record as the Ravens.

but like I said b4 with Dave Campo here McAlister will kick butt

anyway, Now Im done

Found this old (Sept. 2) Article that mentions the Bears have an interest in him. It's Rotoworld though.

Chris McAlister: Report: Bears have talked to McAlister
Chris McAlister - DB - BAL - Sep. 2 - 11:53 am et
According to Brad Biggs fo the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears "have inquired" about free agent CB Chris McAlister.
We're not sure if this was before or after they signed Rod Hood. McAlister was a Pro Bowler for the Ravens but his knees and have given out on him. For what it's worth, Biggs speculates Hood is "not a lock" to make the team. Sep. 2 - 11:53 am et

Free agent CB Chris McAlister is reportedly telling people close to him that he'll "eventually" sign with the Raiders.
The fit's sensible, if only because Al Davis thinks he can turn just about any former first-round pick's career around. McAlister is 32 years old, has chronic knee issues, and wouldn't be a threat to Chris Johnson's starting job.
