Christine Michael bump in carries begins in week seven

If he reacts poorly, then he's not a RKG and can go whine somewhere else. Not saying that will happen nor do I want it to happen, but that's my take on it. He certainly hasn't done anything to merit any kind of special consideration, IMO.

Especially with all the meat he leaves on the bone..........I could invite the neighbors over for seconds.

He earned more carries? Just say Randle and McFadden are not cutting it.

Well...the only thing I would say is I really hope he handles well, because he is one of the better complimentary backs in the league...in that capacity, he's awesome. We can't say anything remotely close to the same thing about anyone else presently on the roster.

I'm still not clear as to why they did not do this in last week's game. One good carry and he was pulled. Same with the week prior (except for the good carry part). If he wasn't injured, they should have used him.

Maybe they were looking at the bye week all along as an opportunity to re-evaluate everything, hit the reset button and move on.

I had hoped he would duplicate his backup stats as a starter. I don't pretend to know how much of his lack of production is his fault vs the fault lying elsewhere...probably some of both. But you're right, as a backup he has been productive. Now if he wants to complain about a reduced role because someone else is getting a shot, I have little tolerance for that. Be a team player and do your best to help the team, no matter your role.

I agree.

He isn't starter breed.

I don't understand that. What is the difference, really?

That would be a real dumb thing for a coach to say to the media.

Even if it is how the team feels, those conversations and comments are best served behind closed doors between coaches and players.

I wish he was leaving meat on the bone.

If we see more predictable playcalling then we'll just see another RB get stuffed and another QB look bad.

More confirmation from RB coach Gary Brown. Maybe I am crazy for hoping that A&M Michael shows up and takes control of this backfield, but that is in fact what I am hoping for.

I think it's more of a case that Randle and McFadden have lost it than Cmike earning it.

And I think they are just the scapegoat for predictable playcalling.

Michael will probably be the next one to look horrible with no space to run in as well.

I could be wrong, but I do worry about how Randle would handle being demoted should that come to pass. Those meat on the bone comments would certainly get thrown back in his face by folks.

Who cares how he feels? Grow a pair & suck it up kid.

Not hard to have a bigger role when you only get 1 carry per game. 1 additional carry would mean his role doubled.

LOL it makes no sense.
Cowboys RB coach Gary Brown: Christine Michael is where he needs to be. "We're gonna take the reins off and let him ride."

what does this even mean ?? lol:huh:
Why would the reins be on to begin with ??

Gary Brown says Christine Michael is going to have a bigger opportunity going forward. Says he's earned it. ....
1 carry no 2 in 2 games and he has earned it ?? I guess good practices, but weeden was the most improved player, with pretty passes in practice.

Gary is really talking now lol

Dallas is so funny, I am all for more christine, but will believe it when I see it.
HOw will he do ? no one can say, just something different, sure glad we let that bum murray walk ! :lmao:
This is all kinda funny.
one day JG is saying no qb change and weeden will get it done, then 3 days later cassel is the starter.
Now Randle is still the starter , but CM will get his reins taken off lol and a bigger opportunity which could be 2 carries a game, we dont know.

I think this is all the result of JOne s boys demands, and it should help, better than just keeping things the same.
Well wait, we still have the same plays, and maybe same game plan.
Probably will still run on 9 out of 10 first downs! They wont ever see that coming, good luck CM.

Exactly, they are just saying this to get fans back into game, same for cassel, plus jones boys want these changes so here we go.

Dude, you have got to stop spamming threads with your "I hate Garrett and the playcalling" agenda.

Two carries will be a bump in carries for him.
