Why would we want a RB that was displaced by a 34 year old RB?
That's my question. There must be something seriously wrong with him if they think Fred Jackson can come in and do a better job.

Dallas won't sign anyone. They are so blinded by their ego that anyone can run behind this oline. Thus we don't need another runningback. Its going to hurt is in the end when MacFadden is injured and we are left with Randle and no one else. Then Randle fails to be consistent. If that happens you only have one person to blame - Jerry Jones.

RBBC works with the Patriots because their a passing team. We actually run the ball successfully and the league fears our running attack. I don't know why were trying to upgrade the RB position with scrubs? Cowboys has superbowl aspirations they would get a reliable runningback in here to compliment MacFadden.

Lynch and Jackson are really good friends. Michael has no character issues what so ever in history so whoever said that made it up. It would be a head scratcher if they let him go for free. IMO he has more talent than what we have, and he doesn't get hurt. He fumbles on occasion! I'm positive he has trade value.

I just wonder if we were to get Michael if then everyone would stop complaining about our running game, or if it would still be under the "sky is falling" rule?

I think there will be some concern until we get a few games into the reg season. Running game is not about 1 run or 1 good game it is about consistency.

To me concern does not equal panic, it is just an unknown. Of course my hope if McFadden can stay healthy and Randle develops as an all-around RB.

There is speculation that New England might sign Fred Jackson. If so, I wonder if the Pats release Jonas Gray?

I'd rather have Gray than Michael. But I think Jackson is heading to Seattle.

The main Seattle RB I am interested in is Thomas Rawls. If he is cut or goes on the practice squad. I am running to the phone to call his agent.

I think I'd rather have Turbin.

He's proven he can play all 3 downs in this league and is only in his 4th year.

No real weakness in his game.

I'm sure though that the Seahawks aren't dumb enough to release him.

Michael's biggest issue is fumbling. That seems to be what most here desire given the hand wringing over one offseason departure.

In case you ever get asked this at a party. Christine Michael was the 3rd ranked TB coming out of high school in 2009. #1 and #2?

Bryce Brown and Trent Richardson. Two guys who might also get cut/were cut.

been spouting for months now that good RBs will be available,, now the public is seeing the result of deep league at RB means when cuts come down, and how a Team like the Cowboys with a HOF OL can take advantage... MMLMAO

He wants to come home. Think he even tweeted that he wanted to play with the Cowboys. If they sign Jackson, it's either him or Turbin and I think he has fallen out of favor.

oh geez. another jackson thread.

Fred is a luxury to SEA because of Lynch and Turbin and Rawls/Michael. He won't be anything but a vet that adds a spark here or there.

He would be more of a workhorse here and that is too much for a 34 year old. I'm told every day how old 27 is for a RB.

Michael would be a good fit here for the RBBC, but would be way behind for snaps. Dunbar would have to go as well.

For me, it would just give us another option, which isn't bad, but still unproven until one of them shows they can provide the punch we need from our running game.

I felt the same way about drafting a running back. That wouldn't mean that we've resolved the issue, but merely that we'd have more possible options.

Well Fred Jackson is no slouch, you know? He's been pretty underrated in my opinion. Even at his age.

If one of them can't go you bring up a PS guy like Gus Johnson or whomever else you add in final cuts.

Thats what I am worried about!!!!!!! Basically that means, get ready to see Romo scrambling around becuase Gus Johnson wont get it done!

We dont have a bell cow. But additional to not having a Bell Cow, we dont have much depth either.....I dont think Dunbar can get it done. The thinking is, a combination of Randle/DMC will allow us to have a strong running game that defenses will have to respect. But neither can do it on their own.

Although I am jumping on the Run DMC Train. If Mr. Mcfadden can stay heahtly....I think he can put up 12-1300 yards; while providing support in pass protection and the passing game. And that will allow Randle to be the great scatback that he is......

We need to add an extra guy that can at least be on par with DMC/Randle. I know they think Dunbar is that guy. But ......i think that is to much wishful thinking.

Not totally true. He had issues with Sumlin at A&M and clashed with him often. Sumlin suspended him for the SMU game. He also pissed off Sumlin when during the SMU game, Michael tweeted A&M needed to run the ball more. He also pissed some teams off at the combine with how he interviewed and he even totally skipped two scheduled interviews (maybe Dallas was one?).

Now certainly not serious legal stuff but the kid has been considered a knucklehead dating back to his time at A&M.

Just don't get it, why sign another RB so they can be cut on Friday. The RB on the 53 will be Randle, McFadden, and Dunbar with Clutts as the FB. It isn't going to change no matter what any of us believe. We aren't going to carry 5 guys so getting Jackson or Christine or anyone else. It is a non-issue right now.
